UPDATED Beginner's Guide | RAID: Shadow Legends 2024

Hey ASH, I am also a new player and it feels like I am super blessed by RNGesus because my first purple shard from the normal campaign difficulty dropped a Taras.... yup... So I stopped Kael at Lvl 50. and maxed Taras instead and he blasts everything and brought me even into gold rank in arena. I don't know if I still should max out Kael? He is very good but much worse than Taras. What type of Champions should I focus on? My plan was Diabolist and Knott since I pulled him and farmed 12-3 for food. I am overwhelmed with the options and what types of artifact sets I should go for at the beginning. Would be very greatful for some tipps ^^

No idea why people talk ao down on raid. Ita a free mobile game, they will always need to nake money. If you arent happy just dont play. I absolutely love this game. Been on and off and recenlty ive been auper addicted. So much to do that keeoa me coming back

when he uses the brews costing 756,000 when he could have used the barrel costing 500,000 😱😱

Close to 2 years for me. I just wish i played on PC lol if i had an auto clicker id be end game. Im definitely late game id say. Unm CB 2 key, i can do hard Hydra, most hard dungeons. Almost done with FW. Cant quite do all of hard doom tower or hard Cursed City. Eh

Raid takes way too long to play. 2 hour + of not using my phone for gear where 50% of the gear being trash

Thanks for the guide! I do have a question though. If I put multiple divine item sets, or a shield set and a divine set on a champion, do the shields add?

ash you missed a huge opportunity cause people can watch these all they want, but the 1 thing noone does and ik it'll be its own video but noone actually explains how to do gear, what stats to get when to stop farming certain gear and stuff all people wanna do is short stiff it and never go in depth with ok this is how you gear this "from 0 gear" and this is how you upgrade a champs gear "whos fully geared" everyone seems to want to chase it but they never put in the work.

Slowly I am becoming a beginner game master. I do referrals for my clan mates for a gempack. 45 days and im at 50. Always do dailies, missions and challenges. These will keep you in energy, silver, gems and double xp.

4 years in, so I may not count as a beginner anymore, but I still found this useful. Do you know if there is any way in the game to see how many shards you have pulled since your last legendary? I swear I must be near the end of the mercy system for Voids. I still only have lonely little Visix.

One helpful battle hint I'd like to share that I don't see covered: When auto-battling in any content, you can click on one of the enemies to have your team focus that one first. This is great when your team is up against a team with a champion who resurrects or a tough debuffer/unkillable buffer, so you don't have to manual the battle until that enemy champ is put down.

Absolutely love your content and positive vibes brother! On that, you should be the first to do a mid game strategy guide. I'm almost a year in, I have some pretty amazing Champs (Cardiel was my first pull), but resources and timing get me sometimes. I'm stuck on whether to 6 star another champ or 5 star a few Champs for FW or focus on tournaments, or etc. BTW, I used your initial starter video to get to where I'm at now. Thanks!

I’ve recently started playing AC odyssey. It’s saving me from Raid in a huge way.

Raid has so much depth to its game and can be a bit overwhelming to a brand new player of this genera. I believe this will certainly answer some questions a new player may ask and come back to when they have a second or 3rd question ;)

Favorite part of raid is that there are so many different champions. Getting a new legendary and adding them to your teams or just trying them out in the arena is always good vibes

I made an account and pulled Harima/Islin/Ronda/Venomage/Frozen Banshee and i bought masteries with the free gems for ronda and banshee and not on my starter and now elhain strugles to farm 12-3 brutal and i have to do in with elhain and islin who do 60 ronda or elhain can elhain do it without masteries?

I didn't hear ASH say this for New Players at the Tavern to level up Champs...
Because Legendary Champs are extremely rare,
...DO NOT USE LEGENDARY CHAMPS AS BOOKS & AS FOOD !!!

Great video for starting/early-game players.

You failed to mention that you have to win in arena to advance in your great hall. Beyond that getting upgrades above the top level silver is quite hard as a ftp player. Just sayin'.

Long time player here, but appreciate this non the less to build our community!
One small correction - Rings are not unlocked on 4 star ascension, it's unlocked once a champion is ranked up to 4. Amulets and banners are locked behind ascensions. (viewable by yellow star vs purple on the accessories).

This is a good guide for new players, but is a little bit misleading about work and time what you need to do for f2p players... This game is G R I N D... Even, when you know how this works its take lot of time to do your every day duties. I play this game for 4 years and dont have any leggo duplicates, dont have one perfect Hero (60lvl/ascended/masteries/BOOKS/blessings! + 9 six star 16lvl artefacts with good rolls (not even starting about rarity, ascending them and have needed sets). Good about this game is, that with right strategy its posible to go through some content even if you dont have just best hereos, but for example get fully gold great hall you need to have hundreds of hours and ten thousands of arena battles. And if you wanna to do anything in this game. You need silver. And even big content creator like Ash dont have enough silver for everthing. And if you spend 2M on unlucky roll to lvl 16 artefacts you spend a quite a lot time to get it back from dungeons or campaign... and there is lot of places where you need specific champions to go through(doom tower, clan boss, hydra, dungeons, cursed city, faction wars). What im sayin, is that if you wanna start to play this game, prepare to never get to end game..., but if you like colecting champions, like visuals of this and wanna just have fun. Go for it. Just dont except that it will be fast. It is long run experience, but because of it there is strong community around that and great content creators like Ash.
