This was pretty useful Zoe, thanks!
I speak native Arabic, I tryed again study English no result.
Passion is key. It's hard to learn a language you're not passionate about.
Thanks, beauty smart cookie!
What has happened in Gaza since October 7 has driven us all to burnout. We are watching this giant persecution desperately. With this desperation, we cannot focus on our lives, works. My language learning process has stalled. I think I have lost my motivation.😢
Great content & really Benifitial, thnx for that & keep making helpful videos for us.Stay blessed.
Ive been struggling cuz learning with books and being immersed doesn't make me happy anymore but output is the key for me to finally speak Russian after 5 years of not doing it because of fear (being introverted is not nice or cool, it literally ruins your life), but here I am and I deciding to not have fear today 😠✨️
Ответитьim stuck between a1 and b2 in french and spanish
You Perfect 👍
Ответитьbreak the plateau
Thank you For sharing😊😊
Free Palestine ❤❤❤
Hi dear Zoe. First of all thank you for your useful content. What you say about this phenomenon in learning is totally true. I learned English and German and beside these language I work as a web developer so I had and have to learn a bunch of technologies and most of these technologies are programming languages which partly have some features in common with learning a language. In the process of learning, I've always felt something like this and I have a special name for this part. I say this is the deadly zone!! :)) As you said, most of people give up when they feel they make no progress and this is where they give up. So it's very important to train your mind, in order to pass this difficult stage.
As always I enjoyed your videos and I love the way you speak Farsi (Because I'm from Iran.)
Maybe I'll learn Chinese someday if I have enough time. That would be definitely one of the most difficult challenges in my life.
My English level is C1 (ielts7) yet i can't handle daily conversation expressions
Hello the video is realeased just in time when i want to make progress in english practices (to reach C Level ) and learn Mandarin (for understanding glyphes). The plateau was for me the communication and comprehension skill in english due to the way we learned at the elementary and middle school in France. After i dicided to move forward with the enrollment in a Brtish university in the UK. I realized that's my english was so bad at the beginning. Then my comrades and new friends of the promotion helped me to make new comprehensive inputs also the output due the intensive stress i had encouter. The plateau effect is the way of how we learn and who teach us. I definitely do not recommend to deal with national education system , especially the french, for a language learner because they re degradant and grammar test are useless based only on memorisation and not practices. By travelling and enrolling to a foreign university is way better and also to find a right tutor as well.
Hello 🎉
You are lier
Your pronunciation is not good

This is the Flag of Turkey not the one u used. That one is the Flag of Tunisia 🇹🇳❤
Very helpful thanks ❤
Plenty of progress.
A view.
Ответитьzero to A1 you just enjoy (some languages are very hard at this point)
A1 to A2 you feel like you understand that language
A2 to B1 hard
B1 to B2 pretty hard
B2 to C1 super hard
C1 to C2 takes years hell mode
Multiple intelligence and "visual learners" are actually pseudoscience and those things have little to no evidence in psychology. It won't help you.
Ответить@zoe.languages I just discovered your channel ! And I totally agree with the way you dealt with that learning plateau, learning a language should be fun, enjoyable and help you to connect with people. Very inspiring video, thank you
Can you tell me how many hours a day should i learn a language please i want know?
I am stuck all over 😂
I'm stuck in grammar and writing and reading in English but I am good and speaking and listening I want to improve in grammar and other skills❤
Ответитьhihi got IG?
I really loveeeeeeeee the video. As someone struggling to progress beyond a certain point in my English learning, it couldn't have come at a better time. Also, I love that you mentioned Elsa too. I'm really loving Elsa for how it's boosting my English speaking skills. The way it spots and fixes errors on the spot, also very very detailed and strict, is really incredible.
Ответитьfinally someone talk about elsa. as someone who has been struggling with english speaking for years, it really saves my life. i even bought elsa premium to practice interviews for my job and it's feel like talking to the real interviewer lol. there are also a lot more features and lessons to explore. really worth the money imo
Been stuck with my language learning lately and glad that this video really provides many fresh perspectives like diversifying learning approach or microlearning. Also, I have been using elsa pro for a while and I really like it. Thanks a lot for the discount I will buy premium asap kkk
Facing the IELTS test soon, and feeling the pressure with the speaking test. Maybe I should consider trying Elsa as it seems to focus a lot on speaking.

I feel really comfortable with A2 German, but I want to talk about more complex topics with my friend, and I can't. It's frustrating for me, and I just want to have the fun, spontaneous conversations like we used to have.
I have been learning Spanish for 3 years I have reached an intermediate level of listening by watching podcasts, interviews and advanced lessons only in Spanish, I can also read fluently and pronounce words correctly, but while speaking I mix up all, I even forget the basic words, what can I do for speaking it (by my own)? I HAVE USED EASY SPANISH, HOW TO SPANISH POFCAST AND MANY OTHERS BUT THEY JUST WORK IN LISTENING AND READING, BUT THE OUTPUT PROCESSES— WRITING AND SPEAKING ARE LACKING A LOT.
