Damn, I miss old OW so much, even characters are totally different, they all feel so lame and flat compared to their old selves. They are more emotional than they used to be. But their emotions feel so fake as if their soul was drained from their bodies and now they all are just empty shells

Sometimes I wish overwatch 0,5 ,I mean 2 was just a bad dream

i think the changes are good since there was a jump in time between OW and OW2 so the heros evolved a bit

Roadhogs voice lines have some kind of continuity, in the first one he says he is the apocalypse and in the second he says that that apocalypse is still going

That Moira one is so good! It has this delightfully ominous tone to it like "What does she mean by the key?" And it really conveys her whole worldview in one simple sentence.

I feel like all of the new ones should've been like this. Instead of a lot of them being replaced by "LET'S HELP!" or whatever their nore generic "Save the world" lines are 😅

They had really good voicelines back then. Also, I think soldier is supposed to have 2 voicelines as I have never heard that new one.

Doomfist OW1: "Only in conflict do we evolve."
Orisa OW2: "Only in unity will we find strength."

Aside from that the old voice lines are so iconic, they are also much, much better than the new ones. The new ones just don't feel like overwatch anymore, and the intonation is... off.

Overwatch 1: blah blah motivation dont give up
Overwatch 2: blah blah omnic crisis blah blah im stronger than you blah blah youre safe with me

does zen have the same voice line?

Tracer’s line just sounds so… generic now? Idk how to describe it but it’s just such an obvious downgrade from the original.

i thought lucios new voice line was “Were here, to he Heard”

Interesting that they changed Ashe’s “my business, my rules” but they haven’t changed her Warlock skin, which still alters the opening line to “my grimness, my runes”

But we still have some time for mayhem, right?

I love how the training range looks exactly the same and I don't remember half the cast's old voicelines so I had to look for the text at the top to tell for the first couple XD
OW2 really is just OW1

The road hog "apocalypse ain't over" one is kinda cool bc it's like he's speaking in continuation from overwatch 1. Semi-4th wall breaking by nodding that it's a sequel/continuation of the previous game. Pretty cool if you ask me
