영감과 배움을 위한 자양분.

그들이 말하고자 하는 것을 왜 말하려고 하는지를 이해하려고 노력해요. 배움의 향연.
건축가가 되기로 결정한 게 아니라, 벌어진 거예요.

하지만 이런 칭찬을 바로 받지 않은 게 좋아요.

어떤 생각 과정을 거쳤길래 이런 건물을 만들까?

새로운 형태는 옛 형태에서 부터 나와야 하고 , 새로운 형태 안에 옛 형태의 변화하는 과정이 있어야 한다.

성공적인 건축이란 건물을 바라볼 때 모든 게 새롭지만 이전에 봤던 것이 상기되는 느낌이 드는 것.

뭔가를 하기 위해서는 먼저 완전히 열려 있어야 한다.
먼저 봐라!
그리고 생각하고 나서
말해라!

돈을 벌기 위해서가 아니라 좋은 건축물을 제공하는 것이 건축의 사회적 관계성이다.
건축가들이 자신의 건물을 이용해 사람들을 위해 좋은 일을 하고 있다.

부자들을 위해 일하는 것은 제게 쉽지 않습니다.

프리츠커 상 수상자라는 타이틀이 내 삶에 영향을 주진 않아요. 클라이언트들에게 나를 설명하지 않아도 될 뿐인 게지.

Peter how bless you are working as an architect. I decided to be an architect when I was 7 years. I worked as an architect in my native country. I moved to other country. I graduated as an architect twice even though my qualifications were recognised but I never had the opportunity and I am very sad. Congratulations your work is excellent.
