I started reading this for Aoko and Touko origin story and ended up having Alice as my favorite character, witches in the nasuverse are so cool.. wish we'd see them more often.
ОтветитьThis really interesting review video
I love your editing, personality, and how you telling what the game offer
Never knew i need VN review focused channel
Maybe sometimes i will play this VN
This looks amazing
ОтветитьThis is a must play visual novel
ОтветитьIdk, Iori in Samurai Remnant is definitely sitting at my top TM protagonist
ОтветитьJust finished reading it...man, what a ride it was.
ОтветитьTBH The only normal male protagonist would be Kokutou since Shiki has been through some shit, Shirou is hardly any different from Kotomine and Soujirou is ironically the most normal guy with the weirdest circumstances.
ОтветитьIt’s interesting I’ve heard this was of Nasus first projects
ОтветитьSo is he a cat or not?
ОтветитьI might Start reading Mahoyo before the anime releases so wish me luck
ОтветитьI was planning to watch the anime version once Ufotable releases it, but now that I saw this vid, I'm having second thoughts about checking the VN out.
ОтветитьWhat a great review man. Your awesome 😎 thanks for doing this! More nasuverse fans are always good
ОтветитьI just finished it and now im trying to figure out what i should read next. Enjoyed it so much, i just wish it went on longer. This was my first experience with anything type-moon and now Im craving more. Any ideas on what I should read next?
ОтветитьI finished MahoYo's main story last year and liked it a lot (although Chapter 5 dragged a fair bit for me). Imo it's easily Nasu's best work overall. It's simplicity compared to later TM stories really is a benefit and lets Nasu do what he can do very well: creating interesting, endearing characters and let them interact with each other.
While Fate and Tsukihime have more epic moments, they also have infuriating lows at times. Mahoutsukai no Yoru on the other hand is more consistent.
I really hope we'll get sequels and that they'll turn out as good as this one.
Really loved playing it. For me its slightly behind fsn but fsn is like top 3 things ever for me so yeah lol. Also Aoko is so good, I went into it already knowing a little bit about her in melty expecting to love her and I was still surprised with how good she is. All of the characters were honestly so good and fun to just watch interact. Its just so good man, more people need to read this.
ОтветитьI love Mahoyo so much and honestly it's still so surreal to have a official English translation/localization of it. I still need to purchase a copy of it (I'm leaning on getting the Switch copy so I can read it while on the go) and I hope other TYPE-MOON works have the chance to be localized (especially TsukiRemake). Will never forget Aoko, Alice, and Soujuurou.
Ответитьgreat review mate👍witch on the holy night has become one of my most favourite VN of all time,
now we just need Tsukihime official translation!!!
( and when it's all done with, I'm really hoping to see the sequels that Nasu promise to make😖🙏)
"Murder might be a bit overkill, but it must be done." -The August Hail
(If that's not a sound bite asking for disaster, I don't know what is lmao)
In all seriousness, great review as always! Despite being a huge fan of the Fate series via anime, I've ever actually read any Type Moon works. Your review definitely has me interested din this vn though- especially with it's high production values and amazing fight/battle scenes. When the day comes I can finally dig into another meaty visual, this will for sure be one I have my eyes on. I may just have to buy it now though in the interest of maybe/hopefully getting more Type Moon releases in English in the future.
Yes yes we finally got a official English release and that's great, but the real question is:
Will we ever see the Tsukihime Rwmake English patch?
This one blew up my expectations, to a point I started to worry if it could only get worse from there.
But no, after Utawarerumono, Grisaia Trilogy and the OG Steins Gate this one just exceeded what I had expected from it, somehow.
I love everything about it except the translation, by a mere coincidence I did replay Utawarerumono Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth just before Mahoyo came in (physical copy 1 day before christmas was great timing).
Both Uta games take well above two, maybe even three times as long Mahoyo does, and in the first 3 hours I found more questionable or plain wrong parts of text being translated (and at some points I wonder if their Spacebar key did even work), than in both Uta games from start to finish.
And I can get past it, I just ignore it and read it the way it should be, but oh boy someone didn't check their homework with the translation of Witch on the Holy Night.
That is my only gripe with it.
So I finished Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. Wondering whether I should play Tsukihime Remake or Original. I was gonna read both but is Original Tsukihime Translation Completed? Should I read Witch on the Holy Night after Tsukihime?
ОтветитьHave you played Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai? I saw you taking footage from that game in your previous video. A review on that game would be appreciated!
ОтветитьThis shit doesnt even have english translation. How am i supposed to read this?
ОтветитьDid Mahoyo get a physical release in the west or is it just a digital version. I was holding out getting it digitally and then damn near forgot about it.
ОтветитьCurrently playing it on switch really enjoying it hope Tsukimates translate Tsukihime 100% soon
ОтветитьW king
ОтветитьThanks august, mahoyo is a gem, and very easily overshadowed by the more well known nasuverse offerings.
Any chance for a mgq review from u?
Man I loooooooved Mahoyo. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. Not only with the art direction, but the characters and their dynamics. Aoko is probably my all time favorite Typemoon protagonist. I was a bit afraid of Shizuki's part in the story, specially because I absolutely disliked Shiro when I started reading Fate (so much that I dropped it after finishing the first route), but Shizuki was surprisingly likeable. In fact, I sympathize with the guy for being involved with both girls lol.
Mahoyo is a 9/10 for me. Looking forward to the movie being released this year.
Glory to Alice's theme, probably my favourite one out of them all.
I won the moment i heard it.
God bless Alice tho, such an adorable character x)
havent seen fate before, tried the anime but never got passed first few episodes.
do you think the light novel is more enjoyable?
I hope TM show us what happens to Aoko after the Tsukihime prologue, such an important character with only a small appereance sounds like a wasted opportunity to me.
Ответитьyou made it to 10k!!!!! finally!!!
ОтветитьMahoyo is really one of a kind in TM works because it really puts the "urban" in urban fantasy. The mystical world it builds evolves into much bigger things later on but back here, in the humble beginnings of the story, Mahoyo's real heart comes in the regular interactions that stem from this cast's daily life. The characters have such a great dynamic, and it's so heartwarming in the end. I love this game, great video review my guy!
ОтветитьThe Nasuverse is so large and expansive that I don't think I'll ever get into it. I'm the kind of guy who can't get into something midway through and need to start from the beginning of a series. I actually saved a great image guide for how to get through entire Nasuverse.... that was last updated in 2014. And even then, it is overwhelming. But Mahoyo does seem interesting. Maybe one day...
Ответитьmahoyo is goated just like the august hail
ОтветитьFinally, a mahoyo review from August I can't still believe that we finally have an official type moon vn english localization.
