No heated/ventilated rear seats or rear vents on ANY trim level in North America. Sure wish the version you tested was available in NA.

1.6l with only a 32kw motor? It needs at least a 45kW motor to properly use regen, however a 60kW is recommended.

The engine itself is good enough as an atkinson engine, however it'll have to Rev at 2.5k rpm at highway speeds in usa, instead of 2k rpm for the 2.0 liter, to have enough power. This will reduce highway mileage, especially above 65mph.

You have some of the best reviews. I am looking at a 2022 elantra hybrid blue, but availability is extremely tight. I originally wanted the ionic, but they've DC'd them. Keep up great reviews.

US models don't get the rear seat AC vents. That's not right! Why would they cheap out on such a minor thing they include in the home market?

I don't know why I re-watch this video every 2 months or so. Maybe hoping that I will summon the Elantra Hybrid to come to Europe somehow :)

0-100 kph is not 0-60. Its 0-62. 0-60 is around 7.6 seconds at sea level. Is the elevation high there?

We just bought the same color combo 2021 Elantra Limited Hybrid. A few things are different from the Korean version you tested, vs the American one we have. Our car doesn’t have the rear vents in the back of the console. Our car doesn’t have rear, heated seats. But, we do have the full Blind spot monitoring system. We love the car so far.

What is the maximum speed that one may reach using only the electric motor? Is that dependent on how fast one accelerates, if that is the case how fast may one travel with the electric motor only provided that one accelerates very slowly?

You said the model you're driving doesn't have BSM. I understand there is a Limited model. Does it have BSM and also another feature I understand is available in the gas-only Limited, reverse automatic braking?

That dual clutch transmission is not the best choice for this car, if it's the same one used in the the sporty Konas and Sorentos.

Hi Charlie! Sonata vs Sonata hybrids! Maybe a comparison video. It seems as though you may like the Elantra better! Throw in a 0-60 for both. I am considering the Sonata, but after the review, I may have to wait (USA). Which would you buy?

Quick question. I noticed during your drive with the car that your right elbow is constantly striking the center console. Does that bother you or make your right turns harder during the drive? Last year at a local auto show, I sat in several vehicles where I encounter the same situation. It seems the center console was too high for me in a few of the vehicles.

Do you think that chinese car manufacturers will be walking trought the same path that korean manufacturers? Korean cars was cheap, crappy and affordable cars 35 years ago and now almost better than (some cases waaaay better) than european or american manufacturers.
