Ok for the non smokers let me explain the smell thing. Eventually you stop smelling the skunk and start smelling the “under layers”. It’s like an alcoholic being able to smell if a whiskey is smoked or if a wine is fruity.

Humans can detect skunk in parts per million, and we also have a cannibanoid center in our brains...

Ive been smoking for 15 years and i have no clue what people mean with skunk smell.
Not even when i started smoking.i always felt they had very distinct differences in the smell.
As in that they Arent even similar. At all.

If you percieve weed as Skunk smell, you simply have bad smell receptors. Smell works the same way flavor does, some people can call something like a store bought muffin 'tasty' where for others it tastes like preserves and margerine.

High quality consumables are ingrained in your nature, or not.
I see plenty of people happy with gas station egg salad. But those are the same people who call indigo and ultramarine simply 'blue' and dont percieve the differences as prominent elements.
They will eat parmazan, pecorino and manchego and not even notice the diffences.
