Drove this Bridge/Tunnel a few years ago whilst doing a Month long driving trip around Europe.
It is an amazing feat of Engineering and a beautiful spectacle too

I don´t know what they are talking about, but its for sure not Öresund. Its like one of the shallowest place on earth. And it barely ever get a ice sheet. The water is salty and the climate is mild. And the seas are never that rougth.
