Thank heavens that Dune didn’t win that film was a complete waste of time

One of the most incredible movies of all time

Well Folks when i saw that I Felt Really Disappointed Dune didnt win it.

It was Like the Grand national were You're favourite Horse fallen over the last fence.


I was home and dry it got 6 oscars


I can imagine cast and crew of Dune
Felt sad it didnt win they were the favorites to win

My reactions after CODA's wins:
*CODA winning best supporting actor: Great! Such a funny but also deep performance, and has the best moments in the movie. Totally worthy and one of my favorite wins of the night.
*CODA winning best film: Umm ok, it's not a bad movie, I really enjoyed it - it's a feel good movie after all - but there are betters in that listof 10. Mixed feelings. Also, I understand sometimes the academies just wanna award a rewatchable movie not that dense (like they did in Green Book) and it's valid. Whatever, why not?
*CODA winning best adapted screenplay: No way! Ok, you don't wanna give the little gold men to Power of the Dog or two prizes in one night to Jane Campion? Maggie Gyllenhall was just there! And that script is miles better than CODA. I really liked CODA, but the screenplay was it weakest and they just gave the movie this award to compensate its eventual best picture, which is absourd. The lost daughter really should have won.
*PS: I think Emilia Jones should have been nominated for best actress but I guess Apple TV didn't take her campaing seriously. Her performancd was amazing. Her singing alone happy birthday near the river is easily one of the touchest moments in CODA at least for me. That and all Troy Kotsur scenes.

I'm not a big fan of Dune (my personal choice for Best Picture was The Tragedy of MacBeth), however if the Academy judges that Villeneuve's movie has the best editing, cinematography, sound ect... and deserves 6 Oscars, with one of the most regarded SF novel as screenplay... then how CODA, a remake of a foreign film, is judged best movie of the selection ?

Absurd. La Famille Bélier is the same exact film but better. this makes no sense.

I just saw this incredibly movie last night. It was one of the most touching movies I've ever seen. The cast is incredible. The actress that plays Ruby I love your voice. Thank you for this movie.
