ОтветитьTry using Vegetable oil instead of Olive. Olive tends to dry the chicken out so it isn't so crispy. 🍗

Watched your video, gave it a tonight, but I used seasoning of Garlic Butter rub & Hidden valley Ranch seasoning & cooked it for 28 minutes (since I have no way of checking the temp~wanted to make sure it was done)...it had amazing flavor for a non-battered chicken...now I'm off to look for a battered chicken recipe for the air fryer!
I'm trying it right now with boneless thighs.

ОтветитьNew to the air fryer world. Do you think going the full 25 minutes or going up slightly on the temperature would have made the skins crispier like you wanted?
ОтветитьAfter seeing your video i finally decided it was time to try my air fryer.... i used a store bought seasoning blend and the same temperature you did and cooked the thighs for 23-24 minutes and checked them with the digital food thing a ma jig just like you did and couldn’t believe how tasty and crispy the thighs came out ...... can’t say I’m all that crazy about cleaning the grease out the container afterwards but dang that process is way faster than grilling on my Webber grill..... will definitely be doing that again soon 👍🏻💯

ОтветитьGreat Video. I wish all people producing recipes would explain clearly up front like you all the ingredients ! In my opinion, chicken has enough oil without adding more (olive oil). This is why you had a pool of oil fluid surplus on the plate at the bottom of the chicken pieces. Wonderful Video…..Thank You 👍🏻😃

ОтветитьJust made this, it was my first air frying experience and it turned out amazing. I was a little apprehensive as it was new to me, but it was super easy. Thanks for the seasoning list, to me it tasted exactly like shake and bake, which I love.
ОтветитьPut uncovered thighs in fridge for 24+ hours to dry the skin - will result in much more crisp skin.

ОтветитьFor me the question is not just how juicy or crispy the chicken is the biggest question is how tender is it? I'm so tired of going to the grocery store deli and buying rotisserie chicken or their fried chicken only to get a home and find the meat is like shoe leather. So I would be interested in finding out if you have ever had problems cooking chicken in your air fryer with the meat being tough or any meat for that matter beef pork chicken Turkey?

ОтветитьIt's really backwards how people started preparing their chicken thighs. The chicken thighs are already wet from you cleaning with water. Then the people turn around and dry the chicken off, and use olive oil. Why? When the chicken thighs are already wet to hold the seasoning on it.
ОтветитьI cannot eat crisp anything, so adapt a recipe with timing and less coatings. I use my air fryer nearly every day and love the quick cooking.

ОтветитьI notice you didn't spray the chicken in the middle of cooking. That's probably why the skin is not crunchy. But I like that and think I will try it that way.
