I bought a sport manual a few days ago. Enjoy driving it and seems like it going to be very efficient. Great car for 22,700

I put 18 inch wheels on it, drops it to 340 miles a tank

I bought a base Jetta last month. I have never owned a VW. If your nice to it and use eco mode the mpg is amazing! 45-55mpg. It paid its first payment in gas savings on a trip from Denver to Sea world in San Antonio compared to driving my truck. We drove there and back on 3 tanks of gas(13 gallons per tank)which included idling about 4 hours at a rest area with the ac on to take a nap and driving all around San Antonio with the AC on 90% of the trip. I actually needed a break before the car needed gas! About 600 miles per tank! Mine is an automatic, since I couldn’t find a manual. So far Im liking the auto in traffic.

I love my 23 Sport as well. Cruises nicely and I get 48 mpg on the commute easy.

Why there's engine light on?

Have the 2.0 gli in manual, the 1.5 is definitely slightly more efficient but still get a solid 40-48 mpg on highway with no heavy traffic etc
