Great recommendations! But where do I wipe the human crap off my shoe while not getting stuck by a needle? Thanks 👋
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThank you for giving some things to do that weren’t all ‘walking around’. Not everyone has 100% mobility (I don’t) and you suggested some things that I added to my Google map.
ОтветитьOnly had a few hours in Portland. All the recommendations were spot on! Loved the tram ride and Mill Ends park.
ОтветитьRIP Pok Pok
ОтветитьTHE SMARTEST AND SAFEST WOULD BE A DIFFERENT CITY!
ОтветитьNumber 1 relocate to Florida
ОтветитьNW 23rd avenue for shops and NW 21st ave for restaurants
Ответитьinsert funny and original comment here from someone who doesn’t even live in Portland complaining about it, like these fox news crybabies never been into a city before, i’d like to see y’all survive in Detroit
ОтветитьVictor 23 is a pretty awesome brewery but it is in Vancouver
ОтветитьNone of them in 2023!!!!
ОтветитьWow. How it’s changed in such a short time. Only things to do in Portland now are 1- get robbed, 2- get assaulted, 3- get high.
ОтветитьThis video was so helpful and really well made. Thank you!
Ответить4 years ago it was great. But today you go into Portland you take you life in your hands. Crime has increased tremendously and the politicians will not do anything about it. Stores like Walmart, Crackerbarrel and others are fleeing the city. If you come to Portland try to avoid downtown. There are some nice spots away from downtown and of course it is within a few hours drive from the coast and the mountains.

ОтветитьPortland is grreat the people are cool i love Hawaian women pineapple does go w bacon the weed is funny the nazis are even cool lol
ОтветитьI've lived in Portland since the 90's - I write this in Nov 2022. As much as I loved this city - do not come here. Many of these places are now no longer safe to be around. The area around the Chinese Garden is unbelievably dangerous - like south chicago bad. Tom McCall is almost as dangerous. Multnomah falls requires a permit to drive out and visit and they are hard to get. The castle is now destroyed with graffiti and trash. The area around Voodoo donuts has countless mentally ill homeless surrounding it - it's definitely a no-go unless full daylight.
We had more murders than Boston and San Francisco in 2021 with even more murders in 2022. Breakins and assaults are weekly occurances. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I am so sad to see my beloved city utterly destroyed like this - but I don't recommend any of my family or friends come to Portland anymore. It's never been even remotely this bad.
R.I.p mill ends park as of the pandemic
ОтветитьGreat Notion for the beer!! Best brewery in the northwest!
ОтветитьPersonal opinion. I'LL NEVER GO THERE
ОтветитьPerfect vid! Quick and to the point! Spanks!
ОтветитьHoney, Sea Salt,
ОтветитьLived in Portland for 8 years. It is not a safe place at night. No one talks about this.
ОтветитьSo sad that’s it’s like Venezuela now
ОтветитьI pooped on the sidewalk when I was there. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
ОтветитьAsk God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost to show you what I’m trying to tell you and others. Pray this prayer: “Lord God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Ghost, if there is anything this person is trying to tell me and others, if there is anything you want me to do for this person, if there is anything others are doing wrong to him, and if there is anything you want me to do about it, show it to me. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen.”
ОтветитьI’m about to search your name and add Portland breweries to the end. Very interested in knowing more about Portland’s breweries.
ОтветитьBack in 2006 Powell’s used to claim being the largest book store west of Chicago. In 2017, they said it was the largest independent book store in the U.S. Now, the ranking is #1 in the World. Really? lol
Well, I must say I LOVE Powell’s
It’s fantastic
It’s one of the best places in Portland
But it’s definitely not even close to being the largest globally. Sowwy…)
Are cars safe in Portland or is it like San Francisco?
ОтветитьThe number 1 thing to do in Portland is to avoid it. It’s extremely dangerous and most people there are homeless and unemployed. High crime, and bums everywhere. So glad I left it years ago.
ОтветитьWe went and used some of your recommendations and appreciated your insight. Loved the Japanese Gardens and Tea House, Chinese Gardens and Tea House, the Rose Test Garden (Washington Park in general), and the Tram up to the hospital. And Voodoo donuts!
I’ve got a couple extra ideas should you go back.
USS Blueback submarine tour - as long as you can handle tight spaces. A lot more interesting than we thought it would have been.
PDX Dönerländ was a great place to eat but our favorite restaurant was adjacent to Occidental Brewery called Urban German Wursthaus, next to the St. John’s bridge.
Thank you so much for this video. It was a huge help in planning our trip. We loved Salt & Straw and Pine Street Biscuits. Gravy was another hit and we recommend you try it if you haven’t before.
ОтветитьSaburo's is a good sushi place but there's always a line.
ОтветитьThere's a especial place in hell for those whom hate Portland .
Stay safe always and question everything .
I'm considering a trip to Portland in November, so this is very helpful, thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you! I am planning to visit Portland after 30 years and excited to see how much it has changed!
ОтветитьHow about 22 things the government needs to do to fix Portland, OR 😂😂😂

ОтветитьNumber 1: Leave
ОтветитьDon't forget the guided tours of the homeless camps! Need a bathroom? Just go in the street. Downtown is pretty much an open sewer. And of course there's the record setting murder rate and small businesses fleeing like rats from a sinking ship. What a s**thole!
ОтветитьPok Pok is permanently closed now. SAD!!
