The Temptations has always been a marvelous group of men, they can make the hair rise on your head. Beautiful singers, marvelous singers, beautiful voices. That Silent Night just takes the cake. Go you guys, God loves you.

I heard this version for the first time while having a beer with a buddy in the NCO Club at Charleston AFB back in the 80s. We just listened in silence and agreed it was the best version of Silent Night we had ever heard.

I lost my grandma five years ago and this was her favorite song at the round table gathering. Rest in peace my love 😘😙❤🎉

When I was a teenager living with my foster guardians in the mid-1980s, the airwaves were constantly playing this song throughout the Holiday Season. At the time, I didn't realize how much this song was embedding itself into the fabric of my memories with them. After I moved out in 1989, and as my foster brother went on with his life and my foster guardians eventually passed away, hearing this song always brings those joyful moments back to me in vivid detail. I can't hear it without thinking about those cherished times we shared.
