ORİS AQUİS CALİBRE 400 NUMBER ONE
ОтветитьGreat video with information that wasnt so readily available on even authorized dealer websites! I appreciate the thought and work that went into this comparison, thank you!
ОтветитьTo me…… Rolex is a watch for people that don’t know watches. Rolex is far over priced, not all that accurate and needs expensive service more regularly than any other watch. Most of the people I know that have a Rolex do not like them. It’s just a status symbol.
ОтветитьRolex needs to do something about the end links, like switching to female ones...
A Sub - Tudor comparison would be a better match because that's where Rolex are being refreshing with design. The Sub is stuck in the mud stylistically and won't be changing.
All oris baby
ОтветитьBuy an IWC Ingenieur 3227 designed by Gerald Genta
ОтветитьNot every Oris Aquis is real
ОтветитьOf course the Oris Aquis are copied in China 🇨🇳 like the Rolex and the other brands too even Seiko
ОтветитьYou didn’t even mention that the Oris Aquis has got an integrated bracelet
ОтветитьBuy an Omega SeaMaster 300 titanium blue dial looks way better
ОтветитьRolex is for suckers
ОтветитьOris looks big on ur wrist
ОтветитьOh…I LOVE THE ORIS👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьKeep the Sub for you and, for 10.000, with me an Aquis + Pelagos + Aikon 😎
ОтветитьThis is a great comparison 👍Big fan of both but will have the Oris and take the kids on a holiday thanks 😊
ОтветитьBuy a watch to sell it? I guess it's not a terrible idea, that way you can get that lovely Oris dial and a few grand in your pocket! If I was spending real money, though, I'd get the Oris as I don't want to spend my life on a mythical 'list' for the Rolex (I don't like the cyclops, either).
Added to that, the Oris has one of the loveliest dials I've seen, it's like looking down into a blue sea lit by sunlight.
Oris 2250 gauss vs 1000 Rolex!!!
ОтветитьOris Aquis is in the mail on the way to me
My first Swiss watch
Thankye from Denver North Carolina
Love everything about my Sea Dweller. Love the style of my Breitling Avenger II Sea Wolf…. but absolutely HATE its ETA movement! How does this Oris 400 movement measure against the ETA’s?
ОтветитьNice comparison
ОтветитьTudor Black Bay 41mm is more special than both in my opinion. Looks similar to the Rolex, but got more color and more character.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьI much prefer my Oris World timer to my Rolex. The Oris is larger and visually stunning. It's also extremely well made and has stood up to extensive world travel wear on a motorcycle. My Constellation is nice but a bit of a latte watch.
ОтветитьAll recent Rolex watches technically use Gay Freres bracelets, but Rolex did purchase that company I think in the 90s. Idk if that counts as in house
ОтветитьThe only reason why you buy Rolex is for the status. Performance, materials and design they are almost the same but the price difference is huge.
ОтветитьSepudusm smnodu durduti first come
ОтветитьJust bored myself oris watch last week and I love it. I only paid 1029 everything you said is right about the oris it’s an amazing time piece watch I love it to bits
ОтветитьI think that the Oris is a more attractive and contemporary watch.
Ответить3000$ vs 9000$ not really comparable
ОтветитьSub will always win
Ответитьi love the oris , the rolex looks old fashion next to it ....
would much rather pay less annd get a 10 year warranty ...
I bought the Rolex for my 40th, now I’m 49 and wear an Oris and Omega. Sold the Rolex a couple years ago.
ОтветитьThat date sub is one of my grails, but I can’t afford it. However, I did just recently pick up the Aquis caliber 400. It will be here in a couple of days!
Ответитьoris is not a luxury watch, just entry level
ОтветитьOris all the way.
ОтветитьI´ll choose the ORIS... and probably some hand mosturizer
Ответить👏👏I love ❤️ Rolex Sub and Oris watches!
ОтветитьAwesome review —- joined 😊
ОтветитьI'd buy a Rolex as an investment. But it's just so boring. I can't imagine, being into watches as I am, wanting it to wear. I can imagine not being into watches n thinking it'll make me look rich. I've handled one, it didn't make me want one but I appreciate the built quality. It's like an original BMW 5 series cos it's never changed externally but it's a classic. But unobtainable unless u buy a very expensive watch. So many other great options. Like a car or something.
ОтветитьI'd own and keep the Oris Aquis. I think it is a fantastic timepiece.
ОтветитьI own an Oris Titan C on the Oris rubber strap along with a Rolex Deep Sea Sea Dweller and I must say the Oris gets the most wrist time. It is such a great watch.
ОтветитьAm I the only watch enthusiast who criticises Rolex accuracy? I've had three over the years and all, including the 50th anniversary Sea-Dweller, have been a disappointment. My 16610 was shockingly inaccurate, even after a completely new movement 53 weeks after purchase! The original disintegrated - literally. The AD was embarrassed as he sent it back to Rolex. I dumped it after several failed attempts at regulation.
I then bought a new GMT2C in gold and stainless. It's a beauitiful watch but as inaccurate as the Sub. It also had a faulty bezel that was so misaligned it was irritating. It took Rolex two attempts to fix it. The Sub and GMT both gained 6 seconds a day, barely matching COSC rating.
The Sea-Dweller should have been an improvement, but it, too, has a faulty bezel, which moves round at random on the wrist. If worn in bed, it will advance two clicks overnight, which is ridiculous. This one LOSES six seconds a day and it's on its way back to Rolex under warranty. I have a fake Rolex President bought for me by a friend in New York in 2000. It keeps almost perfect time after 22 years and cost £7 ($10 at the time). Seriously!!
I have the Oris Aquis 400 and love it. I also have a Fortis chronograph with an ETA movement which keeps superb time. The most accurate self-winding wrist furniture I ever owned was an Omega Speedmaster chronograph. I regret selling it. Rolex - no thanks!
Next one: Oris vs Patek
Oris fanboys: I prefer the Oris, Patek is an obvious choice
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I am a huge fan of Oris but as you mentioned in your review.. it's more cheerful and when you start thinking of dropping 3K on a watch... you want to be dead f-ing serious in my books... I love cal 400 in the Oris but I must say I'd find it hard to resist not joining the Rolex club.... it's just more versatile... Rolex could also be that one watch. not the Aquis I'm afraid. Awesome review by the way, thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for the help with the video. I'm just on my way to get an Oris.
ОтветитьOris 👍🏻
Ответитьyou get what you pay for
ОтветитьAs an Aquis owner I love the watch. It's gorgeous and is a great watch for the money. My only gripe is the thickness of the watch. I would not recommend it for small wrists
ОтветитьI really planing to get oris just love this brand however Rolex better investment and never know but might want to sell even is you want new watch so some how huge dilemma. I like oris design better looks
