HFP did I ever tell you that your videos helped me through therapy and continue to do so? Through your edit and perspectives, I was able to put my life in perspective and understand generational trauma on a different level that I wouldn't have thought possible. You helped me see that I can redeem myself. Not religious, but... THis was the biggest help I've ever had.

If they had made the movies about Kylo (HE WAS THE LAST SKYWALKER) made Rey a side character, it would have been epic. Rey should not have been the main character. The war inside Kylo, him bringing an end to the Sith made him the true chosen one. They are a dyad, they needed each other. In the end they should both live and give new birth to the Jedi. Your ending is so damn beautiful.

Ben was the last skywalker killing off ben and naming Rey skywalker was basically an insult to the entire franchise

I wasn’t a big fan of the sequels, but Kylo? Man, I wished we had gotten to see more of his story. He was always the most intriguing character to me, resembling Anakin so much, this was so good I loved this!

How is this somehow a better story than what we got ❤

I never hear anyone hear the saddest and in my opinion best part of the video. The ending. “Now you can make your dreams come true Ani, for the first time…you’re free.” Because he was always a slave his whole life.

And the cycle restarts... Immaculate conception and Rey is Shmi. Her child is destined to be the next force balance. Skywalker bloodline is still alive.

Alright I’ve said this to others, but I’ll say it one last time to you. This is the best Star Wars edit I have ever seen and it willl stay that way. The dramatic buildup, the music, the flashbacks, amazing work. I didn’t think someone could make an edit this good.

I remember people going into the sequels then coming out with only negative criticisms with very few positive ones. As that initial audience, we were blinded by expectation and similarity that we couldn't see the bigger picture of hear the deeper meaning.
FYI I am one of those people who consider TLJ being the least favorite in the trilogy. However, for me, that is only because of how at times it looks and sounds 'wrong' compared to the rest of Star Wars. People will just look at the certain vibe of what the film is giving to form opinions, when really that is just the cover of a book despite it being events that play out in a story. I just rewatched TLJ and while I still feel the same way about the overall vibe it gave compared the the others in the trilogy, I just focused on the story, ignoring specific action or dialogue and my opinion was completely changed.
Now as far as how I view the overall lore. I just naturally accepted Rey being a Palpatine, of course after the reveal I was shocked but, the type of shocked where you are excited as an audience member, not the type of shocked where it is like, "Why would they do this?". I'm the type of person that is ok with retcons if there is in-story explanation so here is mine:
In TLJ, Rey admitted her parents were no one to Ben, but that was from her point of view, which Ben saw. They were both right because as Ben would end up saying in TROS, "They chose to be". Let's not forget the small look of shock on Ben's face the moment he asked Sidious, "Who is she?"
I know as far as the sequel trilogy story goes, it might rely on a little more background stories than the previous trilogies. But those are for big fans, like me. It is the saga of films that show us the meaning behind all of them.

The mary sue just ruins the story.

SW is so much more than a film, it's part of our lives and doesn't stop when the film ends. Other people don't understand but we do, SW changes our lives in so many ways. I can't find the words but with that video we don't need words anymore. It guides us, help us and that's something we'll always have. Please continue and may the force be with you!

I love this video. But yeah Rey being a Kenobi would have made everything full circle. A Kenobi that finally saved a Skywalker from the dark side of the force. Just gives me chills thinking about it.
