It's amazing against rune bears 👌
ОтветитьLordsworn is a good choice. Less damage than broadsword, but longer, and gets a crit bonus.
ОтветитьIt would be nice if you held it by your side instead of how it is being held, it literally makes no sense, and is ugly as hell. Just on principal, I won't use anything ugly in a Fashion Souls game.
ОтветитьSquare Off is amazing, it just pisses me off that you cannot put it on a greatsword
ОтветитьIn Dark Souls 3, this skill was available on a Greatsword.
The bloody Claymore had this, imagine if we could put this skill on the Claymore on Elden Ring. The sheer destructive power, it would have been beautiful.
This is what I used to kill the tree sentinel at the start of the game made me feel like the blind swordsman
ОтветитьMy first playthrough I just pick the strait sword because I liked it. Next thing I know, I'm dropping giant posses to their knees and thought: oh these FromSoftware games aren't so hard after all!
ОтветитьI use Royal Knights Resolve on my broadsword. Full strength, heavy affinity. I can 2 shot most players ez with a jump attack
ОтветитьJust use jumping attacks with great weapons. Hight mobility, no FP cost, and the poise damage is similar if not greater in some cases when powerstanced or otherwise buffed.
ОтветитьOk
Ответитьlongswords of elden ring fucking sucks tho :/
Ответитьjump 2 handed bonk > square off
ОтветитьMy first playthrough was astrologer and I couldn’t beat the tree sentinel. I moved past the church a bit and killed some godrick soldiers and was lucky enough to get the lordsworn sword to drop. I equipped it and went on to delete the sentinel’s poise
ОтветитьI’d recommend the Assasin’s Cerulean Dagger over the Filigreed Crest, since you’ll be doing so many ripostes. Say you take 3 square off’s to stance break a boss: 3 x 8 = 24 fp - 15 fp returned equals a 66% net reduction in FP costs. In the wild, most mobs only take 1-2 so you’ll have infinite FP.
The only use case in which the Filigreed will be better is if it takes you 8 square off’s to break stance, or if you’re just 1-shotting everything without the opportunity to riposte.
Is it me or does the elden beast looks like a kindergarten's drawing come to life....
Ответитьfromsoft spending years adding all sorts of different combat styles only for the playerbase to use the same 10 things in pvp
ОтветитьI will never betray my true love, Wild Strikes. But all of the stance + light/heavy AoW are legit.
ОтветитьI love square off, it's so good.
ОтветитьCipher pata aow unblockable blade does huge pose DMG and cones out fast with a lunging thrust forward. Poise broke giants in 2 hits, stun locks knights and pose breaks them in 2 or 3 gotta, relatively low fp cost, not as low as this ash but also does considerable DMG, it's 100% holy DMG so even if a shield is used to block it your still going to do lots of DMG.
ОтветитьCertified Lothric hood classic
ОтветитьStraight swords have always been top tier, especially when you power stance them
ОтветитьLiterally is the most OP skill lmao. Literally used the Lordsworn straight sword with it for the entire game
ОтветитьDual straight swords are a great combo for fast attacks, and square-off allows you to have as much poise dammage as colosal swords that are much slower
Ответитьit actually goes on gret sword too
ОтветитьI dropped it once I decided it was braindead easy to spam it, sucked the fun and challenge out of fights.
ОтветитьLordsworn straight sword also has a crit multiplier of 110, which is nice if you like to do poise breaks.
ОтветитьI remember back in DS3, you used to be able to chain Square Off’s light into its leavy as a combo. It’s not in ER for some reason, which is unfortunate.
Ответитьcough ds3 hollowslayer greatsword cough
ОтветитьI need single SS to get a pvp buff how I miss my old school knight build
ОтветитьThere are skills in this game other then square off?
ОтветитьIt's funny how even the manga points out how good square off is.
ОтветитьIt's literally Unsheath for straight swords, you're damn right it's good.
ОтветитьNow let me put it on a greatsword fromsoft :<
Ответитьweirdly enough i literally test one of TGA Table for creating build and slap Square off onto a claymore and guess what it's compatible usually the table won't let player use incompatible ash of war to avoid bans...here we go classic ds3 claymore
ОтветитьStamp is better.
Ответитьits the audio for me
ОтветитьI think square off heavy does 48 poise damage. In comparison Malenia has 80 poise and regens after 5 sec. So square off heavy followed soon by light one instantly poise breaks her
ОтветитьI had to stop using the Ash because it was either OP, or I'm up against someone too mobile to hit with a straight sword, and usually it was the former.
ОтветитьThis skill doesn't goes well on Seamless coop since almost all enemies are imune to poise break with the mod, took me like 10 attacks to break the posture of the troll while in normal game only took two.
ОтветитьSquare off has parry frames
Ответитьthe stormruler stance
ОтветитьNPC invaders seem to have no idea how to react to this.
ОтветитьThe most broken ash of war. Let’s you do do more stance damage than lions claw with everything but great hammers
ОтветитьMany stupid people dont know the difference between poise and stance
Ответитьsquare off carried me so much
ОтветитьYou can optimize this even better by carrying a misericorde in your main hand second slot and swap to it for critical hits
ОтветитьIt's such a shame that they made square off unusable on greatswords like it was in ds3
ОтветитьI see claymore i subscribe
ОтветитьYeah square off is nice but, impaling thrust is better 🤷
ОтветитьHey there, I was wondering if square off does less poise damage if you’re dual wielding swords
Ответить
