I just watched " The Innocents " 1961, i haven't seen it in a long while...those costumes are just amazing, Deborah Kerr ' s dress is like a living entity , her nightgown is fantastic, the children ' s uniforms, the two pitch black dresses work by the ghost... powerful !

I've always wanted a jacket with " Nostromo" on the back like Dallas wore.

IIRC, Ripley's white helmet was Lamberts', repainted. And you see those crazy RAF air cooled flight suits with the white pipettes everywhere. The Mos Eisley Cantina in A New Hope, the Blakes 7 episode City at the Edge of the World, Kate Bush' music video for The Dreaming, the old SF movie Lorca And The Outlaws...

I am honestly a bit shocked that the landing party space suits have different colours (or any colour at all). In my head they were just grey…

One design feature of Ash's costume that always stood out to me is he wears a short sleeve blue shirt over a long sleeve white under shirt, so the long white sleeves stand out. It's quite visually striking, and struck me as unusual.
