I just got my beoplay EX and the anc seems really bad. I cant hear the difference with or without anc...

I agree with the verdict on the sound quality of the Beoplay EX earbuds, in fact I was the proud owner of these earbuds until November 2, 2023. Shortly before that, one of the left earbuds stopped working completely and the right one stopped playing bass. So I wrote to B&O about the warranty. I immediately received the instructions with the label for sending in the defective earbuds, which I did straight away. According to the confirmation of receipt from UPS, the B&O Service Center received or accepted the defective earbuds on November 2. Since then, I've repeatedly received meaningless and delaying responses to my repeated inquiries. It is now December 15, 2023 and there is no sign of my possibly repaired earbuds or a replacement for them! I wonder how a company with a "PREMIUM claim" like B&O can't be able to repair or replace defective earbuds in no less than 6 weeks. For a hefty 400 euros, I would have expected PREMIUM service in addition to PREMIUM sound. The opposite is the case when it comes to service and warranty. The service and warranty handling is, to put it mildly, subterranean or, to put it better, it is a downright scandal.
I can only advise everyone to keep their hands off B&O products

I'm watching this with my Soundcore L3P. I had the Sennheiser Momentum TW3 but had to say goodbye too soon after the left earbud stopped working (an issue encountered by many). In my opinion, the Sennheisers sound a little bit better than the Soundcore. I wonder where you would place the Sennheisers in your sound quality and overall rankings.

I've had Sennheiser momentum 2- AirPods Pro 2- bose quietcomfort 45. The B&O Beoplay ex is the best i've had my hands on . Its a heavy price , but its worth it.

You can never go wrong with this EX. The best sounding wireless earbuds I ever own. With EQ setting in R&B(spotify or apple music apps preset equalizer) n combine with setting the wheel knob equalizer in B&O apps,to the middle,in between 'warm' n 'energetic'(really like the B&O apps equalizer knob setting),then you'll be immerse in another world.

Is there any way to disable the proximity sensor on these? The left earbud will consistently cut audio and then cause music to pause altogether in both because it thinks I removed one. The slightest shift in position in-ear say at the gym or something will cause them to pause music. It is incredibly annoying for $400 ear buds. This is the second pair of them I have had.

Anyone know if there's been continued software updates?

G'Day mate. Brilliant review. Thank you. Can I ask for your recommendation please. I practice and then play loads of golf. Sunny and hot in Queensland Australia so heaps of sweat. I take heaps of phone calls in the office, car, street, exercising. Music needs to be of the highest quality. As a muso I can hear and feel every note. Audio books are also used frequently. Also walk the dogs. I have no favourite brand and will follow your advice. Cheers mate. JC

I like the SOny, Except that the sound transparency mode ONLY being able to be turned on from the App annoysme, and it turns off after 15-20 minutes even while talking. Yes, there is the "talk feature" but it is kinda random in my experience, where it will pick up my voice, but sometimes, in a car, I'll pick up others, and it will turn off if I don't say anything for a bit, so if I was listening to somebody for a while, it will go to sound cancellation while im in a conversation. BUt not being able to turn it on from the earbud itself is why I'm looking at these, or the sennheiser Momentum.

Wybacz...ale nie...nie są PERFECT. Konstrukcyjnie ok... ale parowanie z urządzeniami to katorga. Parujesz ze smartfonem...ok. Chcesz skorzystać z innego odtwarzacza...parujesz. wracasz do smartfona...znowu musisz parować. Pomijam fakt że czasem smartfon widzi słuchawki,stoień naładowania baterii ale nie chce sie z nimi połączyć. I znowu trzeba parować. Myślę że za te pieniądze mogliby ogarnąć chociaż podstawy oprogramowania.Pozdrawiam.

Jefe, you definitely ARE the boss. About that B&O Beoplay; I was almost ready to pull the Amazon trigger but came to my senses. The price is just too high and I would've had to pay an additional 72 bucks to get it past customs in Colombia. No sale. Instead, on the back of your review & comparo with the other two Sennies, I bought the Sennheiser CX. Amazon...85 bucks delivered to my door no US sales tax and no Colombia customs tax. Sold.

Hey Jeff, could you compare them with Airpod pro 2. Some people suggested EX had a neutral sound profile, which I'm not a fan of actually. Is it true?

I think I like Harman target/V shaped sound profile.

Has the anc issue been addressed? Firmware update maybe?

Damn you ranked soundcore above those others? I just returned the liberty 4's because the bass was sloppy and overpowering to the point that it colored all other frequency responses and could not be tuned without destroying the whole sound. Mids were weak and treble on the liberty 4 was harsh. I think they are great on a technology standpoint but the sound was really just poorly tuned.

Out of all the reviewers, I have watched you’re the only one that’s been critical on these earbuds.

I think a good competitor would be Bowers and Wilkins pi7 that are really punchy and loud ... thinking on grabbing the Ex as my second wireless earbuds

If you wanted to buy headphones, sennheiser momentum true wireless 3 is better, anker liberty 3 pro, which one would you buy in terms of loudness, sound quality and bass?

Hey Jefe, I just got my pair B&O pair and was wondering if you could tell me how to set up multi point on them. I've tried looking it up but most sites just say it has the feature, but no instructions on how to set it up

Great review. These headphones sound amazing, but wind tear is a major problem for them and the wind reduction feature in the App makes little difference. The wind tear is so bad I am considering returning them.

Hey Jeff! appreciate your videos. Best after market ear tips--silicone and foam--for a secure exercise fit. I find that my pair of EX's slip out pretty easily with all the included tips. :(
