Hitchens now knows that he was wrong that there is a GOD and Hell is real.

You blame God for the ills of man. Look at your own dreams. I dream of my neighbors car or wife or home . He's no good you say in your heart while greeting him with a smile and pat on the back. Tragedy.

Wow, a standard for what is true is low for Christians. Congrats. I am yet to get convinced God exists, and if he does exist that he is actually someone I should believe in, worship, or serve.
But also poor performance by Hitchens. That's problem with such debates. These are not debates to have off the cuff. Such debates are best suited for purely theoretical subjects. Still, great hearing his voice.

Just as billions of cells are needed for us to live this earthly life, in a similar way are required billions of galaxies for the intelligent life to be hosted intentionally to have 100% freedom, like humans on Earth (think how wonderful the Creator is, the opposite of a dictator, to create this reality in this way, with 100% freedom). He has told us to live in freedom but to not use freedom as a cover-up for evil. Unfortunately, Satan, the fallen angels, respectively their tools in this world - the evil=stupid humans - have used (are using) the freedom offered by God to do evil intentionally. However, all will be judged 100% correctly by God/Jesus and all will receive what they deserve.

The 100% freedom (with all the consequences from those who have chosen to use it for evil) will be followed by 100% justice, done by the 100% righteousness (the perfection of God/Jesus), at the Judgment of our deeds. "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5, 10

Just as we cannot understand the value of light without experiencing darkness, in a similar way we cannot appreciate the value of goodness without knowing / seeing / understanding the stupidity of evilness.
After hearing the truth about/from God/Jesus, only those who want to use freedom for evil are opposing to Divinity, feeling their freedom restricted, the really good humans being happy to receive the confirmation for their love of / striving for goodness, wisdom, justice... perfection, as Jesus Christ has said: "Be perfect therefore, as your Heavenly Father is perfect" Matthew 5, 48
Unfortunately, too many people have refused over history, and too many still refuse nowadays, to follow this.

The other day I was off to see the wizard when I saw a butterfly attack an innocent flower! The mean butterfly was sucking the flowers juice so I grabbed the mean butterfly and said “No, no Mr. butterfly you mustn’t hurt the beautiful innocent flower”, so I pulled Mr. butterfly’s wings off and threw him on the road where he was run over by an 18 wheel diesel truck fully loaded with iron! Further to my comment below this was one of Hitchen's weakest performances in which he fell victim to his own ego. He starts by not actually addressing the question but is so determined to deomonstrate his scholarly knowledge and erudition he attacks religion rather than the logic of whether the universe needs a creator. Dr Haig does at least try and justify his faith and in doing so lays himself open to so many obvious errors such as why his creation version should be correct and not (say) that of South American Indians or Hindus or even Islam. Hitchens does not expose this or Haig's other fallacies but instead allows so many factual errors to just pass by.

How comforting is it for Christians to have a mega leader who was willing to sacrifice the population prior to Christ’s birth because they were born too soon???! If GOD exists and GOD is the creator of all, and all mankind will be judged on acceptance of Christ, why wasn’t Christ on the planet before the creation of man?

Regarding the existence of miracles, they happen for all of us, but we have to recognize them, like in the following true happening (please excuse my English because it is not my native language).
When I was doing my military internship, the captain handed me the seal of the weapons storage, trusting me and because I was helping him with documents editing at his office. After a very hard day of training, with running, etc. in the polygon (proving ground) of several square kilometers, I realized that the seal has fallen out of my pocket. Being a late winter day, the snow had melted almost entirely, leaving thick mud all over the field.
The captain sent me back to the polygon to find the seal, otherwise he and I will be put in jail.
I have searched the seal for many hours in a row on that field, through all the areas where I had been instructed (that day, the commanders running us much longer than usual). I looked desperately and very carefully over an area of several square kilometers, until nightfall and I could only see in the moonlight.
When I no longer endured the enormous stress and despair, deciding to give up and return to the military unit (thinking about the tremendous suffering/evil that I will have to endure in prison), realizing that someone might have stepped on it and buried it in the mud, right when I was about to take the first step towards the return road, something made me look down at my right leg, just before to move it.
Even near my heel I saw a slight glow in the moonlight. I bent down to see better and ... I couldn't believe it, it was about a millimeter portion of something metallic, it was a very small part of the seal coming out of the mud, the rest being buried into the ground.
I found it! The impossible has happened! Think about how this was possible. It was a very close probability to zero to find an object so small, like a thick copper coin, lost over such a huge surface, where so many soldiers could step over it, more than once, burying it entirely into the mud.
Only the Creator of this reality could make me found it in those conditions, right when I could not take any more suffering, when I couldn't do anything more, and decided to renounce and go back (having to face the prison conditions in my country, not only very dishonorable, but also very deadly at that time).

The Creator of this world (God/Divinity) exists because this reality, with us into it, is not the result of nothing, or the result of no intelligence, because from no intelligence involved, no intelligence comes. In addition, the results of a process prove the intelligence involved into that process. That is why the entire process until humans time proves the existence of God,

Furthermore, the conventional biological evolution is hiding the facts about Satan and the other fallen angels who, according to the "Parable of the weeds", have altered this world, the DNA... The entire evolution of the Universe has nothing against the truth about/from God/Jesus, but proves it instead (many parts from the Bible being told metaphorically, not literally, at those times people not having enough knowledge scientifically, but now we can fully understand the metaphors used). For example, the dust from which Adam and Eve have been created is representing their material bodies (parts of this material world), God giving spirit to those material bodies. Eve made from Adam's rib is referring to the X chromosome from the XY.

Therefore, Adam and Eve are representing the first hominids species chosen by God to place the immortal spirits (cast out from Heaven) and that is why Abel killed by Cain are representing the Neanderthals (Abel) extinct by the Homo Sapiens (Cain). According to my following simple and undeniable demonstration, there should be no more atheists: Because of the following two simple facts:
- from no intelligence involved, no intelligence comes
- the results of a process prove the intelligence involved into that process
the existence of the Creator of this reality (God/Divinity) is proved by the existence of this reality with intelligence into it.

God is not bounded by what He has created, but atheists, in their superficiality, do not want to recognize their limitations. For example, science will never be able to really know, at least, what a photon is (the magnification process being infinite). Regarding the Creator of this reality (the nature of God etc.), our power of comprehension will always be like how much the cups can think to understand the man who made them (comparison mentioned in the Bible), but we have Jesus Christ, the human form of Divinity, to be able to see God and what He expects from us.

I've never told anyone to do this or that Mr. Hitchens. People are going to do whatever they choose to do and my only hope is that they choose to do the right thing in God's eyes. In fact the early Christians were "ordered" to denounce their Christianity and if they did not they were executed...more often than not very slowly and painfully...

Based on the vastness of space saying that is basically saying it's 100% probable out of just a huge huge huge amount of choices. Hence the fact that all those other situations are just. It's just that in our little amount of time to evolve and to get smart we feel as if that is a long time based on our perception of time. Really if the first did evolve for billions of years and we evolved for Millions that would still be a short amount of time compared to greater things kind of how a piece of sand is huge to ants but tiny to a mountain time is just relative. We are way too smart for this amount of time we've developed thinking it's been a long time and that we are so important. All evil has been done because of stupidity and the main/worst stupidity has always been to not listen by God/Jesus.
In particular, for mankind, if ALL people (over history and nowadays) would have followed the main commandment from Jesus Christ, besides to love / respect our Heavenly Father, to love / respect (care for) the other humans as we love / respect (care for) ourselves, all the crimes and the tremendous useless suffering would have never happen.

Without true belief in God/Jesus, the following evil facts have happened, are happening and will happen:
- so many millions of people killed in wars and not only (following the killing of billions in the Third World War);
- so many trillions of dollars, euros, etc. wasted on nuclear, chemical, biological and conventional weapons, on armies, etc. only for killing and destruction... not used for: free better education for ALL, suitable jobs for ALL (without exploitation / slavery), healthier food for ALL, renewable energy, science, eradication of all diseases, better housing (resistant to earthquakes...), financing of useful inventions, recycling, reforestation etc.
- sadism, violence, dishonesty, vices, envy ... stupidity in general.

We should never fight against each other but only against our lack of useful knowledge / wisdom (for decreasing our ignorance), while loving / respecting each other as we love / respect ourselves, these being the main requests of God/Jesus.
Therefore, both science and proper education are very important to understand God's creation and what is better, regarding the human behavior, so that ALL of us can be not only happier in our ephemera life into this world (while we are still alive here) but also deserving, or at least allowable, for perpetual life in Heaven (after leaving this world).
