Forza Horizon 5 Is Not a 10/10

Bro spoke facts for 38 minutes. Not much else to say even for a review that came earlier on in the games launch.

Got a few hundred hours in fh 4, maybe did 20 races, some people like me just enjoy free driving

I think I might try it on game pass those Hotwheels tracks look cool...oh actually if she rants everytime you do that track then fuck that

One of the only things I felt NFS Unbound did right was have AI that would immediately retake the lead if you messed up. At least in the early game races that I played, it seemed like sometimes you just had to accept placing below first, especially with limited restarts.

Forza Horizon 5 is just ok. Forza Horizon 4 feels much better to play honestly

this game is the worst like Forza Horizon 5, so bad and garbage and trash in my opinion ... so boring and a lot of missing cars, truly rating it it 3.5/10. I really loved Forza Horizon 1, 2 and 3 they were the best games in my opinion and I felt like I was living those good days back then and now it's just horrible and let's be sure that Forza horizon 6 won't be messed up at all.

Honestly progression is the main reason I stopped playing forza horizon 4. I just inevitably get to the point where I ask myself „whats the point of it all“. I feel like I just do another race just for the sake of doing another race. And literally nothing feels risky like theres zero commitment in the gameplay, you realize the car you just bought is shit? No problem just buy another one. There’s just no sense of achievement and whats the point of heaving so many cars when you’re not able to have an emotional attachment with them when I play my cars have an average lifespan (the time in which I use them) of a roll of toilet paper.

Forza Horizon 5 was the first game I've tried in the series and it was painfully boring for me. There was no soul in the game and I felt like I was out of touch as I watched so many people say it was the best racing game ever made. The hype ups and story missions were just so cringe and as you said they want us to be excited like this is the best thing ever but nope that's not how it works.

I have found way more bugs in it, I even found less in FH3!

you're missing one of the worst things about this game which is the 3d car models. Recycling models from over 15 years ago is just embarrassing. People say "well its the cost of having so many cars" not realizing that the only reason they have so many cars is because the only model work they actually do with each release is for new cars. Gran turismo has a wide selection of cars and they actually rework old models to make them more accurate. Forza's entire ethos is quantity over quality.

FH5 is my least favorite Horizon. It felt good the first hour or so, but I eventually stopped liking driving over hills for minutes at a time and repeatedly doing tedious things in a massive empty world.

my biggest problem with the game is that everything feels like you're driving on ice. any small turn at any speed sends you flying. realistic or not, it's not fun.

why am i watching this video for the 3rd time?

Midnight Club LA does this thing kinda, where they have a better rubberbanding effect. They speed up the car behind you at certain moments to keep you on your toes, and the driver warns you about it before it happens so you can bash him into a wall or use a power on him. I think that's infinitely better then Forza Horizon 5's solution to the problem. it's hard to find a balance, as if the AI crashes and you don't you just win and that's not fun. it's a good middle ground, despite Midnight Club as a whole being super punishingly hard at times.

This game is the most fun when you actually learn how to drive and disable assistances and the rewind function. Once you learn to play these settings become annoyances when activated and the game is much much more enjoyable...

My biggest problem with this game is the load times I don’t know why but mine takes so long to load compared to my friends we’ll boot it up to play online and from the time it says press A to start it takes at least 5 minutes to load sometimes 8 or 9 minutes! I haven’t played it in months because of that I’m not sure if it’s my console, the game, or both lol

The progression really fucks up a good game, in like 4 hours i already got 30 cars. Maybe without any packs you will have around 10 but still the bmw x5m forza edition is literally a maxed out car and you get it after like an hour of playing the game. It isn't fun when it doesn't feel like you've earned the cars, the progression should be exponential, you should start in a shit box car with a 400 rating max, then you should slowly work your way up and eventually being able to get the hypercars without a problem. But when i already get the best of the best it's not interesting.
