I'm in residency in a para clinical branch, leaning more toward the Academic side. It is in a diffrent region with different language I don't understand any thing so I just speak to every one I have to in English. I personally feel socially isolated here so I don't interact with anyone, if I have any doubts I would clear it online. Yes I have been criticised in my seminars and journal clubs. I try to improve, but I am just never satisfied. This has been my PG experience so far. I got 2 more years to Go before I can start working on my resume to apply at CDC.

Sir I'm a surgery 1st yr resident started 1 week ago.....I'm posted in the ward ......i literally have no idea what's going on and ,how to make notes ,how to put files work ...give rounds , and have no off at all..i went home after 7 days living in DDR, don't know how to approach or what's the full picture of case apart from diagnosis, and in emg night we r the only resident who have to mange where i have no clue what and how to give orders....my question is sir how can I overcome this fear of not knowing....being abuse , criticism not bothers much but when we r with patients making decisions is difficult how to overcome all these things??

Thank you sir. I've just entered my gyne obs residency and I'm always on the verge of crying when someone asks me about it. Seniors are a pain (2nd and 3rd yrs) . Some of them are unnecessarily rude. And I feel they don't care about us learning new things. They are always burdening us with stupid work. Like go with the patient here and there.
I was really depressed. But after watching your video I've realised i just cannot let it affect my mental health. I will try not to take these things personally. 🙏

What you said might be right sir,regarding dropping out,I don't have particular interest in any branch,but I liked dermatology,and after writing neet pg 4 times I am vexed and I applied for counselling and I got md pharmacology.andnow j am not in a position to take drop and I thought I would somehow struggle for 3yrs and write entrance exam again.but thinking that wouldn't come true I guess.accept the fact and move on.although I would get pathology in subsequent rounds of counselling and I am not interested in microscope or slides,and my parents are forcing me that earning prospects in pathology are more.i have never been more depressed and half of my life is gone dealing with all the outside bull***t.anyway thank you for your tips and motivation sir.

I had joined MS orthopaedics this year in a different state far from my home , but I can't adapt the the enviornment , seniors are psycho ( as you mentioned) , felt like they are torturing me....
i left the college after doing duty for 1 month ...
thinking of leaving my seat with a huge amount of penalty money ....
dont know how to overcome all those difficulty ,,, i need your guidance .....
