Dealerships are usually pretty good, but like any shop it's really luck of the draw with who is looking at your vehicle. If I don't know the issue the first thing I'll do is check for TSBs.

Good investigation. Unfortunately most Shops make money on parts so they like firing the Parts Cannot at it. Only when they still can't fixit, they may seek a Diagnostic Technician .

One addition I would make is, rather than resealing the Shark fin Antenna, it is better to replace it. The antenna that the vehicle comes with has water drain opening (it actually doesn’t drain but draws in water) at the back which traps water in the antenna. The newer ones come with the water drain hole in the front which is at a lower level so helps in draining off water if anything enters

Well that didn't help me fix my problem at all.

have problems with my 2006 Nissan Murano, Changed Pedal, Changed Trottle body and still car won't accelerate. Once changed car drives for a while gets heated and it goes to limp mode with Slip light and VDC displaying a check engine light, please any suggestions for possible solutions?

What about a Buick Enclave 2013 with a shutter that I’ve already replaced the pedal, throttle body, plugs and coils? Has popped p2138 once.

Oh no! I have a code P2138 on my Nissan and now I remember I got water intrusion 2 years ago because my sunroof drain was cloggued! I also have other intermittent issues like the keyless entry is not working on the side where there was water intrusion.

Any chance this can cause engine stalls?
