So what, I’ve got two guitars, three pedals, two amps, two guitar stands and…hmmmm, some picks!
ОтветитьWhat is the square footage of the amp vault?
ОтветитьWatching his videos I always envisioned Tim was set up in a small room in his house. This is definitely not what I expected. It's cool to see all the toys and how things were set up.
ОтветитьOh my God Tim!
ОтветитьMy music studio is also in the bonus room which is also above the garage and it is hot as hell in the summer and cold as shit in the winter :(
ОтветитьIt's interesting and scary how north americans have a very high level of consumerism...it probably doesn't need more than 5 guitars to do the job, but anyway, rules for the environment and sustainability don't exist in the music industry.
ОтветитьAndrew, do you know what the preamps in the EL500 2- bay 500 rack are? Towards the top of his rack underneath the Kahayan 16 channel summing mixers. I don't recognize them!
ОтветитьTim, uno de los más grandes guitarristas de la historia. Gentil, amable, educado, un maestro de la guitarra.
ОтветитьTim is so down to earth. Great to finally see the setup behind the camera.
ОтветитьThat archtop looks like the Tal Farlow model with a bigsby mod
ОтветитьWonder what Tim's electricity bill is like
ОтветитьHoly pants. Really cool to see what a lifetime of building a functional studio around your practice looks like. Man I want to see Gigrig Dan clean up that octopus of pedalboards.
ОтветитьTHANKS!
ОтветитьI would love to live next to Tim. "Hey Tim, can I borrow your Ox Box and that PRS... oh, and this pedal, too?"
ОтветитьIf you really think about it, Tim could be the greatest guitar player ever. From his live work to his session he is incredible. He can sound like almost anyone, he just writes better stuff!
ОтветитьYo that isolation box is killer.
ОтветитьWhen I bought my first house I did the same thing. To see if the neighbors could hear. Luckily for me they could not. Love this Tim.
Ответитьtf that intro so loud???
ОтветитьLove Tim
ОтветитьGreat vid!
ОтветитьI feel so mush better about my guitar collection now.
ОтветитьYour logo is very esoteric
ОтветитьAmazing video Andrew! Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work 👍
ОтветитьAll I can say is "Duuude... Awesome!" A lot of hard work put into that, Tim. Thanks guys!
ОтветитьThat room with all that equipment is my idea of paradise ,
ОтветитьDear America -- Sign up for Tim's Masterclass.
ОтветитьYESSIR! Love Tim. What a setup.
ОтветитьThis was amazing. Thank you both so much!
ОтветитьAhaaaaa....I knew I recognized you from somewhere. East West!! I used to work there all the time. FIlm/tv/records etc.
ОтветитьI’ve seen other videos of Tim’s studio, but this is the first one to show the spaghetti of cables everywhere 🤣
ОтветитьOther people wear chains, Tim wears a guitar.
ОтветитьLove Tim’s PRS necklace. Awesome setup!
ОтветитьWhen using two mics like a Royer and a 57, is the technique to pan left and right usually or combine both in the spacial field to have one signal with the lows and highs of both mics? I know it should be done by ear with no rules just curious on what the pros usually do most of the time.
ОтветитьTim is the fucking man. Full stop. The only issue I had with this video is Tim said oh this chop 6 is the bass for guitar players, and I'm just yelling at my screen why? Tell me why... I want to know so bad! Lol. Great vid and great info. Thanks for doing this one
ОтветитьThat Cab room is very ideal.
I don't know why I never thought of doing that.
I can see that in my future at some point.
Amazing studio
ОтветитьI love how Tim’s entire setup is so down to earth, practical, humble, chilled, and as unpretentious as he is! What a great guy and tour. Thank you!
ОтветитьBuilding and opening a studio myself, I can relate to the Gear Acquisition Syndrome... ...It's more real right now that I am building a production studio. My wife is a saint with how well she is dealing with the mounting costs.
ОтветитьTIM RULES!!!
ОтветитьThis was incredible. Thanks so much!
ОтветитьI was drawn to the cabinet vault.
ОтветитьTIM ! Thank you very much. I am subscribed to your channel, but always wanted to see the setup this way. You come across as a very humble and cheerful fellow, that I'd love to have as a neighbour. Everything was very strategic and well thought out, but i did wonder why no EV12L's / JBL D120's / Altec Lansing 417 8H speakers ?
ОтветитьI love how functional and ergonomic Tim's studio is. That black PRS SC is gorgeous too!
ОтветитьLove this video!
ОтветитьINCREDIBLE video, thank you on many levels (especially the level that every time my wife mentions my modest investment in my home studio I can whip this out and compare). Thank you Mr P, I've learned so much from you and this channel!
ОтветитьWhat a great video! Tim is such a quality person and fantastic technician, in both guitar and his extensive setup! Wow. Thanks.
Ответитьnuts
ОтветитьGreat ture, and Tim is great as always.
Thanks for sharing!
of all the videos I've seen of Tim's studio, I've never seen one where the camera is pulled back for a total overview. Another great video Andrew. The only thing that scares me is the power cables bunched up in a pile mainly because I've seen a fire started from the heat generated from a single extension cord left coiled up but I'm sure Tim has insurance and a fire extinguisher.
