I honestly doubt that Bismarck was Evil. He, along with many other of his fellow war machines and soldiers, were just following their orders because they had no choice. Any objection to their orders would most likely have led to execution by the Nazi government.

While he may not have been evil, he was still one of the most BADASS ships to ever set sail.
