Thank you for sharing this...next best thing to seeing and hearing my lil brother Jesse in person!! :)
ОтветитьOld guy on the squeeze box is really good. and the fiddle guy is holding his own playing with a star fiddler consigning himself to the rhythm guitar for this tune. Nadine is just naturally good, especially when playing her favorite music, Cajun.

Ah Cher Babay, it does my heart good to hear the music from my culture. The Cajun Heritage isn't very widely shared, such a shame. It's a deeply rich culture. Thank you for sharing the concert. Each of you a very talented musician.

ОтветитьFantastic.
ОтветитьLove it. Cajun royalty.
ОтветитьAs a french citizen, my heart is broken to see that a french legacy remains and at the same time that this legacy could be disappear. from a member of the deep french to a member of deep american people, don't forget the legacy of french colonisation of louisiana, and the deep affection that bound our two countries, now and forever. This link between our nations will never disappear, i hope.
Amen and thank you for this great and wonderful songs.
Don’t understand the words in the songs ( in the UK) but love the raw energy and the obvious enjoyment of the musicians.

ОтветитьThis wonderful music brings me back to my mom and I dancing in the living room on Saturday mornings while listening to this music on the TV. French was my mom's first language too, born and raised around St. Martinville, LA. This group is absolutely a beautiful representation of traditional cajun music.
ОтветитьWow this is one 100% the real thing!! Just the real people and the real instruments, that's more than enough!! Forget all the digital stuff and go back to where it's all truth and honesty!
ОтветитьLove it! First time that the different reeds were played so that I could hear the difference. Thanks for that.
