Hello friends, here's our latest Honest Government Ad - part of our Climate Sh*tf*ckery series in which we’re picking off each one of our government’s (and many governments’) strategies to avoid taking serious action on the climate crisis. We started off with the Kyoto Carryover Credits, then we looked at EV policy (FFS); then the infiltration of our science agencies. And in this HGA we look at one of the key pillars in our Government’s “Technology Investment Roadmap” to reach Net Zero emissions: Carbon Capture and Storage.

I plan to cover others as we head towards the election. It’s my hope that these HGAs will help to improve public literacy around climate and energy policy, so that more people will be better equipped to recognize bullshit solutions to the climate crisis when they spot them in the wild.

We’ll dive into more details about CCS in the Podcast companion for this HGA, which we’ll aim to publish early in the new week. And we’ll add the PG version to our Teachers page shortly.

Business as usual. Its not the behaviour of companies that breaks my brain. They are predictable, motives and actions understandable. Evil and horrid but logical. This makes them very easy targets to dismantle.

Except for one thing... their tough shield of incredibly brain dead, voting, tax paying consumer base feeding them power and constantly electing public servants to that act against the publics interest.

Its the stupidity of the average consuming voting tax payer drives me up the wall and across the ceiling.

But maybe, with the internets help of mass information sharing (That the current powers that be are shitting themselves over as they scramble to legislate and silence that information, "The War on Disinformation" they call it) we might have a chance to get enough data into the sheeps brains to realise the bullshit all around them. Maybe.. just maybe on a cold day in hell we can start another 100 years in favour of a prosperious working middle class untill its cycle of inevitable downfall and the renewed struggle to restore it. Like the last 10 000 times.

Why are you guys spreading climate change propaganda. For example the recent fires in Greece, officially 79 people are sited as being involved in the arson that caused the. Here in Australia 24 people were charged with lighting those fires and police mentioned this during press conferences. As for Maui, everyone now can easily see that some very dodgy activities took place there. No evidence exists what so ever that a 1 degree alleged human induced increase in average temps causes an increase in fires nor flooding.
