It's also one where you can see how stands transform in skill as time goes on, specifically as Gyro and Johnny have to grow. This is like how Hey Ya! while seemingly useless would only work if Pocoloco wanted to believe in the the good fortune and trust of Hey Ya! [although the one thing the does make it a little better than Cheap Trick too is its not actively a parasite who kills its host if seen. Makes it a lot easier for Pocoloco to just have to trust Hey Ya! as its weakness of only really doing one thing keeps it from really having big drawbacks].

The Boomboom family and Pork Pie Hat Kid I feel are the reflection of how good stands only are good if they are in the right hands, similar to how bad stands can work well if the person is resourceful and such. Boomboom's stand and its connective forces are flawed by the disfuctional family dynamic mostly seeming from the father's view on his sons not caring for Andre's survival by the end and constantly insulting L.A. The stand itself is not the most powerful we've seen but if used in a different part or better working team they could have easily been a bigger threat. It's their lack of growth and williness to work together than make the stand much weaker than what could be seen in other parts.

Similar Wired isn't a bad stand if it wasn't for the middle of a desert limiting his pool to pull from and again his notable lack of intelligence that seems to greatly impact ability to manipulate it once Johnny had figured out more about the stand itself. Niche stands aren't uncommon in other parts, but its the way the users are able to manipulate and use it that make them powerful. This I feel can be seem in part with something like Tim's stand having mostly poor stats but instead of using it for combat his intelligence is what makes the stand good. Like part 4 having stands that break away from just solely combat purposes does help and works to make characters in a setting where 'street' smarts can be more functional than 'book' is highlighed best with Tim's stand. But as we grow to face more educated users, the stands are able to become more complex and rely on more than just this idea of street/survival smarts.

Also Zombie Horse as you mentioned a stand because all unnatural Phenomenon are considered to be a result of stands.

By building it up in this way from being low level in power, power potenial limited by the user, different uses instead of just fighting, and phenomenon's SBR does the best at slowly building the power scales for stands and how they exist in manafest in so many different ways allowing the collection of stands as a whole to be better understood in what they are without the set in stone ideas that had grown from part to part in the first 6 to best make what makes a stand known to readers while building for the characters who don't know without it just jumping into the deep end and making it part of the development to their own growth.

Overall part 7 had a lot of cool stands and it was as expected, a bizarre read. The stands get more intricate and more law defying which makes me really like the later ones a lot!

I made my own original stand, its a ring shaped object stand, that can change sizes, being like a ring, a bracelet, a necklace, or a belt, its called 『Like A Record 』
it has a heavy ball on a string, that when the ring is spun around, will orbit the ring, generating momentum, and has no terminal velocity, and the faster the ball spins, the faster the user can move, improving mobility, and power, cos a punch at 1kph is gonna hurt alot less than a punch at 1000kph but it takes time to spin and gain momentum
