Cottage cheese on tossed salad with dressing over it.
ОтветитьI found a recipe and have tried a few different ones through the years.
ОтветитьI learned a lot here. Never thought to use a loaf pan, always used shredded Mozzarella and always boiled noodles until they came out with the no cook noodles. Love homemade lasagna. Need to make this one. I was self tought. My parents divorced when I was about 12 or 13. The father handed me a cook book and said start cooking. Had to make out a menu for the week and grocery list for items needed. Love your show. Did you get the recipe for the dry jello salad. I wrote it on blue paper. Hope you make it and enjoy it. Love all your videos.
ОтветитьI don't like the salt in parmasan cheese what other cheese could I use
ОтветитьIf you place the noodles in opposite directions each layer it'll hold together even better
ОтветитьThis is the best video of making lasagna! I’ve made it twice for my family and it was wonderful and then I made four huge pans for a church function and people are still raving over how good the lasagna was!! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI.found..lasagna.recipe...but.i.lost,it in all my moves oh it.was.good....cant.waite.to.try.your.recipe.sound.hummy..i.didnt.uses.egg..also.i.droped.noodle.boiling.water...5…7..min..it came.out. tender.and.yummie.from.idaho
ОтветитьWe make it with ground turkey too it’s not bad well done!
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this video. I like the thought of wrapping in plastic before the foil since it is tomato based, but on this one aren't we cooking it in foil anyways?
ОтветитьThe reason for not using Kraft is that it contains wood pulp. Yep-if u don’t believe me do your research this goes for a pre shredded cheese. It may not be called wood pulp but trust me it’s some type of very fine pulp to stretch the cheese. As you know great cheese is very costly. I’m 70 I grew up with the green can because in my small town that’s all they had. I would never ever use any type of pre shredded cheese. Do as you like it won’t hurt you but you’re paying for the filler that’s NOT cheese.
ОтветитьFeeds one in my house. 😊
ОтветитьMMMMM!😂 great hint re not boiling noodles🎉 im way over the hill 83 yrs...wish id known that way back then❤ love your programme❤
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThat looks good.Elizabeth Kyser
ОтветитьDo you use the no cook lasagna
ОтветитьThat would be wonderful to see a video of your special wonderful salad
ОтветитьI found a recipe & over time, I made it my own. I use Jimmy Dean sausage with garlic & onion powder, fennel seeds added. Then I saute the sausage with chopped onions. I make my own marinara sauce & can it. That way I always have it handy. By the way, I love your videos. Oh, I always make 4 layers.
ОтветитьWhile my mother made excellent lasagna, she never taught me how to do it. However, when my oldest son was in the 3rd trade, they made us a class cookbook with adorable covers made by our child. They had your recipe in that book. My son was so proud and wanted to make the lasagna. We did, it was a treat and every year we make several pans for the freezer. Great recipe!!😊
ОтветитьLooks so tasty
ОтветитьMy neighbor taught me how to make the best lasagna.
ОтветитьYummy
ОтветитьI learned how to cook lasagna from a cookbook, but I put in more cheese, and I boiled the noodles which was a lot of work because they did stick together. They didn't have the oven ready noodles then. I do not like cottage cheese in it so i use ricotta.
I live in Oregon USA, and i love love watching your channel.
I love lasagna Elizabeth Kyaer
ОтветитьI like real rocotta cheese and real chopped parsley. I use Montery Jack and real Parmesan cheese. Montery Jack adds flavor and still makes it stringy. Mozerella has no flavor. By the way, if you line up the noodles length wise than it just makes an even fit for the pan. You did it backwards and had to fill in the gaps with broken noodles. Also cook the onions and garlic with the meat. That pan does 3 layers perfectly. ONE box of noodles fills the pan just right.
ОтветитьBack in the old days my mother put boiled eggs she cut them up and spread them all over it. And she put the cottage cheese. I'm 68 so now you know what I'm talking about.
ОтветитьI like to hide a sneaky layer of pepperoni under the last layer of cheese 🧀 😉 ABSOLUTELY Brilliant, thank you 🌟
ОтветитьI come from an Italian family my mother taught me to make lasagne, we never used Cottage cheese though, always Ricotta cheese, we also used mild Italian sausage. And it taste great! But I like watching your videos, you give me good ideas!
ОтветитьI started making lasagna when I discovered the no-boil recipe on the Ronco noodle box. It is similar to yours but the meat sauce is not as substantial. I will try yours next time. It looks so delicious. Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy watching because you explain everything so well. I love your kitchen too. That long stretch of counter space is a dream.
Ответить$ 45.00-50.00 Lasagna!
ОтветитьHey Tom i just came across this recipe you've done sometime ago. I'm definitely going to cook this tomorrow for dinner. My 8yo daughter loves lasagna. ОтветитьI learned from the carton recipe! Always came out well! Thank you for all the great cooking you do! God bless you both! Good camera work also!!!😊❤
ОтветитьNot an inexpensive meal. I must confess i usually use Stouffers.
ОтветитьYou should buy mozzarella and shred it yourself because in the shredded mozzarella there might be my Misa treyson which is a prescribed drug
ОтветитьThe best tomato paste is contadina tomato paste
ОтветитьMy former sister-in-law made the best lasagna I've ever had
ОтветитьLooks so good. I'm binge-watching today. My mom taught me to make lasagna but I made up my own sauce recipe. She browned 'burger and poured in a can of Prego. Lol
