I planted one here in Jamaica where it’s always warm and humid. Will it thrive? Some people say it’s too warm and it won’t bear fruit. So far it’s growing well.

You are 100 % correct! I recently lost a big lychee tree due to strong winds, the 4 inch diameter trunk snapped right from the bottom almost level to the ground. Watching from Lusaka, Zambia 🇿🇲

Hi Jeff , great video. I was curious about the air layer that you did. You mentioned that you air layered it last summer, is there a particular month that seems to work best for this ? I would like to try layering on my lychee and maybe the longan too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
