Medical Insurance is taken due to lack of other social security system, especially for senior citizens. It's a shame to levy GST on Medical Insurance.

Didn't know that Vikasit Bharat would be so much costlier to a common man!! From head to toe, everywhere taxes.. Done with Long Term Capital Gain, now they are thinking about increasing Tax on Short Term capital gains... Modi Govt is not increasing the no. of tax payers, but the tax collection only. Corporates getting loans written off, reduced tax etc. while middle class is out of money due to increased tax.

First of all, there should not be any tax on insurance, particularly life insurance. Even if it is there, it should be as less as possible.

Gst for applications for getting jobs, which attracts lakhes of applications should be removed as only unemployed people are struggling for money to apply for jobs. This should be considered with sympathy

Food, water, healthcare and electricity are basic needs of every human being. It should be either affordable within a society's minimum wage or should be subsidized by it's gvt. That fact that we don't have a public healthcare is a shame in itself, to top it off these flesh eating monsters wants money from me should be beyond acceptable. But we are Indians, we don't care about social or political issues even if they affect us directly rather we keep finding new ways to rip off others.

Absolutely: in a country where we are forced to go in for medical insurance , why pay high gst @ 18 %. Gold has lower gst. Since Covid , premium is going up every year.
