Is the Ryzen 5 5600G Still Good for GAMING

i was always a low budget enjoyer i been using the 3600g for over 5years until now and upgraded for a 5600g using it with a ventus 1650 4GB OC and 32gb corsair vengance in dual channel and i dont think that my current setup will change any time soon 😂 i think as long as you only wanna aim for that 100+fps on 1080p with a mixed graphics settings on most games then you will be just fine with the 5600g.

Having quick ram can increase the performance of this chip drastically. When i was running my 5600g before i swapped to a 5950x+6900, i had my ddr4 clocked to 4000 CL16-15-13-30 or something of the like. I was using a 1440p 21:9 monitor, as well. Ran great until i upgraded!

I definitely want to tinker with this chip a bit more once i end up with extra components 😅

I dont really agree cuz games like assassin's creed unity, the 5 5600g gets an average of 50 fps, for ghost runner it gets also like 40 to 50 fps which is really playable at 1080p. Games like gta still run smoothly and are enjoyable to play.

What is a good voltage to sent to the cpu at stock settings? My mobo sent 1.35 V to the CPU at stock settings. With the stock cooler, the cpu throttled when doing the ryzen master stress test.

If i put an RX 6700xt for my 5600g will it bottleneck?

I had this baby for 6 months without a GPU and it ran wonderfully. No settings higher than low, but gaming with 90fps+ consistently is always good. Then got myself an RX 6600xt and it just became smooth like butter even at 1080 high. The big plus about this APU is that you can START well with it, but not FINISH with it. You can add any mid range GPU these days and it wouldn't bottleneck. Definitely an amazing little piece of hardware. Especially if you can get it below MSRP

Got a question i can pick between 2 prebuilt but they differ one is cheaper with a520m the other is with b550, their prices are the same if the a520m has 32gb ram and the b550 has 16gb only. Which should i choose?

(october 2023) I decided to get one for League of legends gaming machine when i travel to my fathers house 1 month per year. Its very legit for LOL.

This chip shines in emulation it literally runs everything out there at great frame rates at even 4K resolution. Heck it even smash through PS3 emulation.

I just use it to revisit old games like UT2004, HL2, Dead Space or Painkiller which run happily at 1440p, I can't be bothered with muti-gigabyte modern AAA titles since its more a nostalgia thing for me gaming than anything else, so its more than fine for my needs in that regard but more importantly (for me) its very good in other respects. With Windows running on a NVME drive everything feels nice and snappy and looks good.

Will there be a bottleneck if I use rx6700xt with this processor. or will i5 13400f be better with rx6700xt. 5600g pc 3.0 does not support, will this create a problem, I will switch to a desktop system for the first time after the laptop, I do not want to regret it. Can you help me?

For some reason in brawlhalla i get 60 fps with this cpu. It just makes it weird cuz its a 2d game with not fancy graphics and i only get 60 fps

Gta V is playable cause it's a single player game....well it doesn't matter if fps drops below 60 in most of the single player games
