were is this factory ? in the u.s ?
Ответитьso Rotax is a German company ???
ОтветитьThey forgot to mention they started the aviation products right from the snowmobile 2 stroke engines, without redundancy.
Let us read the labels, almost no B-roll, you guys can make a better production.
Rotax: Synonym of flying snowmobile
ОтветитьI'd like to see three harden pins in the 1630 crank timing gear
ОтветитьHey Guys. We looking forward to some new content. 😀
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьIt's been a long time since your last video. I think we all miss you!!
ОтветитьI am paranoid about Rotax engines after a friend was killed piloting his small copter that had that engine in it. He was one of the best pilots of those machines around. It failed shortly after take-off and he wasn't able to clear some power lines at the altitude. Almost made it. So sad. He was a great guy. Lots of stories out there if anybody does a search for Allen Barklage. Adventure filled life he had. Kind of like you Bambi.
ОтветитьAnd that is what an educated, dedicated, and motivated workforce with a passion for precision looks like. I didn’t see one purple haired, multi-pierced 400 lb waddler in the entire factory. Having owned a Rotax 582 I can vouch for these engines being durable, dependable, and economical to run. Great work. 😁
ОтветитьWe are going to blow up the presidential plane of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
ОтветитьWhat's happened to you two? We're starved of good flying content.
ОтветитьThanks for a great video of the plant. Was interesting to see as it is a big difference between low volume production like their aircraft engine line compared to for example an automotive powertrain line
ОтветитьThanks for the tour. I know why their engines cost so much. They have hundreds of machines that would be a million each easy.
ОтветитьI wish I spoke Deutsch as well as these men speak English.
ОтветитьNice job you did.Thanks👏👏
ОтветитьThe Best !
ОтветитьMillions of engines? Are you sure?
ОтветитьGreat video Bambi
ОтветитьOn a positive note, I own a Spyder RT Limited with the 1330cc engine, but I wish the engine was 1500cc matched to a 6 or 7 speed automatic transmission. On a negative note, I hate the extensive process that must be accomplished in order to check the oil. There should be a simpler process to accomplish that. Other than that, I love my Spyder and hope to be able to ride it daily over the late spring and summer.
ОтветитьWhich engine model are the Iranian's using in their drones that Russia is using to attack Ukraine?
ОтветитьAs a Canadian I have believed in supporting BRP by purchasing their products over the years being a Canadian company. However I became hesitant back some 15 years ago when I found out that the Engines where being manufactured by Rotax a division of BRP, with plastic parts for oil delivery systems within them, which over time fail and destroy the engines. These products are not cheap and to have what I referred to as Engineered adolescence, is not what I consider good Corporate ethics.
ОтветитьGreat video but could have used a better camera for recording, it has focus and frame issues.
ОтветитьHorrible audio
ОтветитьI have a 650cc single Rotax in my BMW GS.😊
Ответитьi know this is for airplanes but here is a little story about a little 12hp rotax 1971 elan skidoo,my mom fell greatly ill at our camp in 1977.and the only way out was with the little elan 12hp.took mom out put her in the sleigh laid her down there and dad and me and my little brother drove her out to the hospital...it was minus 30 below zero..we made it mom was safe.the elan skidoo is long gone but the rotax motor i still have on a shelf...thank you for making a good little engine. without it mom would not be hear,
ОтветитьWe want to see the machines etc and hear the people, not the other way round!!
ОтветитьMany sanctioned countries have plenty of Rotax engines in their drones.
Ответитьso in ww2 germany invaded france and after the war the french canadian company bombardier " invaded" the german company
ОтветитьBrilliant engineering cration.
ОтветитьVery PC to have a female in the video. Unfortunately, she demonstrates why you should not have a person presenting a subject they have no interest in, or no understanding of..
ОтветитьThis video is like Public Service, it shows human faces 99.9% of the time. Not for us who are interested in engine manufacturing factories.
ОтветитьCan you build a outboard now and save the Evinrude y'all own them
ОтветитьRotax clearly make very reliable engines but the staff that showed you around are just plain boring! Rotax would do well to hire someone with a bit of spark! Informative but bloody boring!!
ОтветитьFantastic video, thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for share excellent information
ОтветитьAwesome nice and educational video, many thanks to Rotax and Bambi, greetings from Remi from Belgium
ОтветитьGood video, but tractor engine not showing this video
ОтветитьNice video, thanks for that !! Always amazed by the engineering skills in southern Germany and in Austria... these guys are also pretty proud of what they do (at every level), and you can feel that... Happy to fly Rotax !! 👍
ОтветитьNice. Now can you do a condensed version with only the aero engines?
ОтветитьThanks for this! I tried getting a tour only two weeks after you were here but without success. So cudos for doing the impossible. Flying a rotax 912is in my pipistrel virus sw surveyor in canada. Love these engines.
Ответитьmove over rotax .. yamaha is coming and they will be good
ОтветитьMy first ride in a 2 seat ultralight was powered by a Rotax 505. For it's day, it was a powerful and reliable engine.
Ответить✌👍
ОтветитьGreat company in the minor leagues. Excellent video.
ОтветитьThe Rotax engines are simply the best little engine on the market right now. But I don’t like the monopoly that Rotax are giving Franz Aircraft Engines…. When the dealership went from Lycon to Franz prices went up 30% And when we as a part 145 work shop or Part-M sends a E-mail to Rotax with a specific question to the type certificate holder we get the answer from Franz that is not following the EASA rules!
Part-M should always have direct Contact to the type certificate holder and that contact should not be interfered with by a seller! the seller haves economic interest in the outcome of the question!!!!
Are any of the engineers looking to combine diesel and gas in the chamber to create a perfect balance of efficiency and power and reliability. .??
ОтветитьHonestly it's a shame such an engine is left combusting coffee 😢😂.. nice art if one can afford a 40,000 coffee maker lol. Cool stuff. If I have not said it. Engines turn me on. I'm the morning.. 😂. Love the new technology and innovation. Don't STOP INNOVATING...
ОтветитьExcellent video and props to the people from Rotax for their very extensive tour you were given. These two gentlemen were excellent tour guides. What an amazing product line they have. Thanks for making this video.
