Eva, I have loved watching your videos for years, and this school year in particular I have found myself channeling you a lot in my everyday life. Your insightfulness and creativity is so inspiring! I have never been so engaged with my school material and motivated to work hard. I know it may sound dramatic, but your videos really do remind me that I love to learn and that I am so privileged to be a university student. It is so easy to get wrapped up in life and forget that.

I have been in a funk recently as well- Just exactly the same shit.... work work work & other business i have. No friends, no boyfriend. Just rushing and not enjoying. I'm trying to get out from here.

I also study journalism but in Buenos Aires, and I love seeing you share your readings and thoughts on it! It sometimes feels like sharing intellectual opinions on the internet as a young girl is "weird", or like it puts you under the tagline of "nerdy content creator". But you are a clear example that you can be cool and intellectual at the same time: one can have deep and also more superficial interests at the same time! Both are fun

Hey Eva I love your videos you’re so inspiring!!! I just wanted to know where the Pyjama is from that you wear

I once saw a tiktok where a girl was explaining her annotation system and I thought it was so cool that I've been using it ever since. Basically, if she saw that a recurring theme was for example “love in youth” she wrote down on the last page a kind of personalized index and wrote “love in youth” and the pages where this theme was repeated and so on with all the different themes she read. 
At the end you have a book with an index divided by themes that you have chosen yourself with all the pages written down and you can check right away where the author talks about love, about grief.... and so on.

Watching this and it's taking me back to university days. I used to study English and my friends and I formed an English group where we'd meet in our library common area and talk about things we were reading in class and poetry and linguistics because sometimes someone understood a concept and could help someone. Maybe try discuss some things with your peers especially the poetry and hopefully it'll help you with some of the work you need to cover.

I've had a very similar situation with my laptop right when school started and I had a lot of Deadlines for video editing for my part time job. I felt like i wasn't in control anymore and was duper stressed out. I appreciate your authenticity and sharing such a difficult moment!!

Eva, your insight from the books you read to your own life is beautiful. Not everyone takes the time to do this. You're going to look back at these times and wish you were back. It's like drinking through a fire hose and that's the point! From my experience, it's all about surrendering to the acedemic process, to your perfection, to everything. And instead, finding the place where you flow through. That's where you'll find the joy again. May you find some more ease in the process! I love your videos, thank you for making them despite the chaos!

Your sentiments about your last year remind me so much of my own. 4th year was the busiest year in the entirety of my uni life and together with my thesis and a whole system to develop (I did IT) I often felt like I was losing my mind.

But going through the madness together with my classmates, and having support from my family, it was bearable. All this to say it's normal to feel all these emotions, every time and all at once. For what it's worth we're all rooting for you and you've got this Eva 💗
