That is odd that despite Rome’s failings, we really did try to collect and put back together again this empire… that literally collapsed… for a reason…😅🤷🏾‍♀️

Before even the 'Crises of the Late Middle-aged" The first modern European state was the Norman Kingdom of Robert of Hauteville of Sicily. Palermo at the times was a capital of 300 000 people and the languages spoken was, "Vulgar Latin Italian and French, Greek, Arabic and the Jews as well other cultures all lived in peace and harmony. It did not ended there later years after Frederic the II of the Hohenstaufen dynasty became Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire not only ruled wisely and his court was renown all over Europe but he was the only Holy Roman Emperor that established communication with Muslims rulers in the middle east and north Africa gaining friendship with the churches enemy. This became the down fall of the Norman Kingdom of Sicily. One and only real modern European state was, under Frederic II a ruler that promoted laws with the "Constitution of Melfi", created the University of Naples with lay teacher not priests as teacher, you had the School of Medicine at Salerno, Trotula a woman teacher thy performed operation and medicine was based on herbs and body knowledge one of the practitioner was Constantine Africanus from North Africa. The church excommunicated Frederic II after his death Europe plunged in the drakes age and its crises again but the seed was planted and the same man that lived the rebirth of culture under the experience of the Norman Kingdome of Sicily moved north and spread awareness. Today we speak of Florence and the norther Italian states this is selective memory created in the 18th century in reality it is false. When the Norman settled in Southern Italy invaded Sicily it took 10 years the Guiscard of Hauteville was a force to deal with making William the Conqueror of England insignificant with. Years of legend created around many characters hide a harsh realty and a selected memory to hide what really went on.

imagine a world where we stockpiled crops instead of gold, water and oil instead of guns and nukes, the things we all need to trade and consume in a pinch, these should be the things we hold to most value. Dry seeds, grains and flour would feed any nation struggling, and rebuilding any nation comes from people being well fed and doing something constructive, not expecting everything to come to you, you can't buy shit with gold if no one is selling, when the lights go out digital wealth is moot, one year without a summer or solar flare and their society ends anyway. We should be preparing and changing now, so we can survive if we have a winter lasting 10 years, or the lights go out for 2.. most people don't know how to live in this world without the teat of society feeding it, but we needed a world full of specialists, where no one had their eye on the ball and our leaders didn't we, compartmentalised, pigeon holed, they have us right where they want us, policing eachother while they do all the crimes against humanity they want, its all redacted from our history, investing in themselves and their beautiful places, while we all rot in the asshole they neglected, we are just a growth to them they care not to think about, until it gets cancerous

Funny how there is no mention of the Moors. They were the ones that came and cleaned europe. That is why they are celebrated and/or made fun of in many european countries. Disguised as cultural celebrations.

most people don't realize the renaissance era was a consequence from china's tang dynasty spiritual phenomena. all you see displayed on the video was heavily the spiritual awakening that was happening in china a few decades back. the renaissance era wouldn't have happened if it weren't for china and their discovery of gun powder.

History is pure propaganda. The dark ages was a period of 1000 years with very low taxes. Thus the politicians didn't have a ton of money to build useless things, on the back of the poor. The renessaince was a period of increasing taxes.

This video is inaccurate and is misleading. 700-1400ad , the Iberian peninsula was occupied by Moors. Western Rome collapsed as well with Europe. Spain was ruled by moors for 800 years. Their reign ended in Europe 1492. Which ended the Roman Crusades. That when true renaissance started. There rewrote history in favor of their skin color, they stole the identity of the moorish king, queens, buildings etc.

This is bulllllllshit with no mention of the moors who actually ruled 700+ years who brought art, architecture, science, HYGEIN etc to the people of Europe. Everything always either starts with the Greeks or the Romans but who the fuck do you think was their teacher 🙄 literally came yesterday in the grand scheme of humanity but somehow the story starts n ends with…. It's sad to realize that the world will probably never witness another era like the Renaisaance again. Art, literature, sculpture etc were at their peak.
Now all we see in the mainstream media is sexualized (rap) music with disgusting lyrics and attention-seeking tiktokers shaking their arses and doing other dumb stuff.
I can assure you that no one will remember the horrible generation that is Gen-Z.
Truly sad.

But we are on the cusp of a neo renaissance at the same time. And this time we will go to the stars

Anyone know why Beyonce is doing a album now on the subject of Renaissance? Anyone? Culture appropriation. God forbid I do a album on a period of time in Africa and attempt explaining how it relates to my life without getting chewed out beyond what anyone can fathom. It's sure hard for her to leave somethings alone isn't it? I guess she just has that privleage. Yes yes I'm aware there were black Renaissance. I'm also aware that this was still not truly apart of black culture but leave it to "Queen B" to cover it like it belongs to her lineage while profiting from it. Culture appropriation to the max. Half my family was born in and traveled directly from Europe and the other half of my family was invaded by the Roman's. I find her ignorance and entitlement disgusting. I have been using a deck of Renaissance tarot now for the last year at minimum. The name printed on my Pajamas purchased precisely one & 1/2 years ago lists the word Unique of which was spoken into my life by a spiritual shaman exactly 2 years ago due to my make up and my identity combined. Everything gets stolen and or remade especially when it comes to women that seek to prop themselves up off your work in the music industry. The sh$t she talked in the song was hilarious. Taking the Diamond and Pearls hook from Prince while I'm recording my album in his studios as we speak. Her desperation at a complete high.

These are broad strokes of a deep and rich history, but we can't settle for thinking that the plague evaporated as the arts, sciences and exploration expanded without it stemming from other parts of the world, most notably Africa.

When western Europe conquered African territory, much of their economic strength was at due to African resources, by trade or through conquest.

It's not even a mystery that much of African history was destroyed and stolen by Europeans, therefore not all, but much of Europe's rise to power came from the Motherland.

The Renaissance came from the arts, sciences and earlier developments of Africa, who had been to Europe, traded with and coexhisted with, for centuries prior to the slave trade.

Rome wasn't empire in 700 BC, it was a Kingdom. And Julius Caesar wasn't a Roman Emperor either. An I hope you guys make those corrections in those books you peddle.
