I tried this, it’s not going away. It just came out of no where today.

But even with the Guided Access i can’t take a screenshot while the Guided Access is active i have to turn it off manually to be able to take a screenshot i guess i’ll just have to deal with that white bar take over place

I hate that it makes you think about it for like a nanosecond to long cause it has to do a whole fancy transition . It breaks my immersion. I think they did it like that on purpose, like a design psychology thing, if your forced to pay attention to the mechanics instead of it just fading into the background seamlessly you have to acknowledge that it exists and itight give the allusion it's 'fancier' . It's just slow annoying and sparkly.

The stupid thing about it is that you can’t swipe or exit apps until you disable guided access. I had the bar gone, but my screen would lock me in the app I was using.

That with face ID option now is so cool. Just set the code once then after just triple clic to activate and double to desactivate. No code needed and quick to operate. No more bar and annoying notifications. Kinda a game mode that should exist since a long time
