ОтветитьThe washed out color on this video is very distracting and makes it very hard to watch. Keep it simple Mr editor, nobody wants this!
ОтветитьPlease interview Lydia Ko ⛳
ОтветитьReally nice work, here!
ОтветитьTo be brutally honest I was never a fan of Michelle Wie. I think she was badly advised as a kid. Should have focused on being a top women pro and shouldn’t have have been playing against the men early in her career. This was a distraction and she never really lived up to the hype with only 5 pro victories. At least this was a relatively short interview unlike some.
ОтветитьReally enjoy your interviews. You get the best out of your guests and ask the perfect questions. Also you are a great golfer. Only wish your injury hadn't curtailed your playing career however we get to see your great content and passion for the game and its players. Thank you.
ОтветитьOne of the best interviews I've seen in a long, long time. Iona put Michelle at her ease and she talked freely and easily about her life. Great questions and a lovely, relaxed interview. Superb video.
ОтветитьMichelle was must see TV when she was at her peak. A uniquely talented athlete with an enormous level of ability unseen before. Injuries unfortunately derailed her at the height of her powers but still moved the need and changed the game forever. 🙏
ОтветитьIona…that was special…wondered what happened to her 🤔
ОтветитьGreat production and fantastic interview.
ОтветитьMichelle Wie supports MEN playing against women on the LPGA. She is a woke leftist. How did it work out for you Michelle playing against MEN? You are disgusting retiring and pushing men to play on the LPGA .
ОтветитьThanks for this video, I loved it!
I was a fan of Michelle since she came on the scene as a young girl. She is incredible, and this video was a great was to "get to know her" a bit.
Thanks for the memories, MIchelle, and thanks for doing so much for the game I love.
Iona, you are inspitational in your own way, and I love all your video series.
I have been a fan of women's golf for so many years - basically from when I fell in love with the game more than 5 decades ago, and it makes me happy seeing the growth in the women's game.
glad she chose the most important things in life to focus on
Ответитьthe media destroyed michelle. she was so young and an amazing talent. too bad she couldn’t have just been a kid longer. golf wasnt going anywhere
ОтветитьGreat insight as ever, very enjoyable wat h! Always good to hear the REAL stuff, it's important people can represent themselves!
ОтветитьSuper
ОтветитьRespect to Michelle on an amazing life in and out of golf. Respect to Iona for building on this special series with her top notch interviews of some of the games best.
ОтветитьWow another fab episode. You ask the best questions. I think your professional golf career so helps your insight into what to ask your guests. You know how to dig deep.
ОтветитьFlippin heck , Iona is the Michael Parkinson of the golf world . Top chat lady.
ОтветитьBest wishes to the two women with the wonky wrists
ОтветитьGreat interview, as always. Would have loved to have seen you guys play a few holes!
ОтветитьReally informative. I've always felt she was a terrific player who maybe lost direction a bit, but this interview gave some great insight.👍
Ответитьshe was defo a influence ,even as a male high handicapper my father in law said to watch the ladies swing , but u couldn't put like her , also Iona is a great entertaining interviewer as many have said before me ..
ОтветитьThanks again Iona for digging a bit deeper into the interviews you do with greats of the game...
ОтветитьAll I can say is, WONDERFULL INTERVIEW, well done. All of the positive comments, you've got a talent lady. Kudos to you and your team.
❤️🏌️✌️ out
i like your work
Ответить2 power house women in golf. Love it.
ОтветитьIS you’ve done it again. Great interview done in a great way.
ОтветитьMichelle comes across so grounded what a role model shame you didn’t get to play a round of golf together in this.
ОтветитьGreat interview Iona, i agree Laura davis woud be amazing, but turn on the charm, and invite the big cat to Scotland for an interview, plus a round with him for yourself obviously😂😂😂🙃
ОтветитьThe worst episode of the series…
“How do you manage life, working, being a mom and a human being?”
And a millionaire, of course.
Sorry, but I stopped watching, this time.
What an interview and I'm surprised to see how really tall Michele is 😮.
ОтветитьWould love a similar interview with the icon that is Dame Laura Davies 👍
ОтветитьWell done... as always.
ОтветитьAnother great interview 🏌️♀️⛳️
ОтветитьMichelle wie is one of the Goats
ОтветитьGreat interview but I was hoping for some course action.
ОтветитьI love the relaxed interview technique. Let’s just have a blether!!! 👍
ОтветитьExcellent interview again
ОтветитьMichelle is such a role model. I hope young people understand what she had to go thru and where she is today...impressive.
ОтветитьMaybe I’m wrong, but I always considered Michelle Wie to be a bust. Granted, she won 5 tournaments (one being a major), but that’s not considered enough to make anyone an “icon” or “superstar” or “legend” by any stretch. She had a decent career, but nothing stands out so much so that she would be considered one of the game’s greats. I really hate it when a celebrity or athlete’s ego is so over-inflated that they expect to be categorized with the best of the best, so the interviewer has to stroke their ego and say things that aren’t anywhere close to the truth of the matter. Would you consider Webb Simpson or Keegan Bradley “legends” or “icons” or “superstars”… absolutely not, but they both have SEVEN wins with one major so they’ve won two more times than Wie and you’d never think of them if someone said “name your top 10 iconic golfers”. I think Wie was a bust who left the game no different than how it was when she showed up. She was a flash in the pan who Nike bet BIG BIG BIG money on (and supposedly is still paying her for some of reason) so she got a lot of media attention because of the ridiculous contracts she was signing, but she never really lived up to the hype. That’s just my opinion… I’m just a 12 handicaper with a day job, so don’t put too much stock in what I’m saying.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьYep, Iona, the female Micheal Parkinson 😎
ОтветитьAwesome interview Iona
ОтветитьShe wasted a lot of her time going to college instead of working on her game. Couldn’t handle the pressure.
ОтветитьI think Michele has handled her life very well considering all she had to endure with the unfair golf expectations as a child prodigy and criticism she received with the way she went about competing at an early age. She hasn’t shied away from the criticism and talks honesty about all her experiences. She is obviously grounded and comfortable in her own skin despite people until this day still hold onto their negative idea of her. She has moved on but others just cannot.
ОтветитьShe is so amazing and I really enjoy her so much.
ОтветитьGreat interview, but it seemed to missing something without the golf.
ОтветитьMW is a cautionary tale of how NOT to manage the career of a golf prodigy. Instead of learning how to win against her peers, her parents indulged her unreasonable aspirations of competing against men and someday competing at Augusta. At the end, her body betrayed her before her maturity and self-awareness caught up. She definitely under performed as compared to her prodigious talent.
