ОтветитьI’m obese and healthy. I don’t overeat. I have thyroid problem where my metabolism don’t burn fat. I know lots of normal skinny people who are in hospital or sick all the time. I had covid twice, didn’t take covid shots and only had fatigue. My life insurance charging me $111 a month because of me being overweight. I take low dose blood pressure and thyroid pills. They said I was lucky to get approved to get life insurance. Insurance charge my normal weight hubby $76 a month. We both rarely get sick.

ОтветитьLet’s be clear here, being fat isn’t good and especially being obese. Just because you can walk a mile I’m 15 minutes doesn’t mean your healthy. Although dr Lavie is correct that the BMI calculator doesn’t take into account muscle mass, this woman in particular (No shame to her) is in the morbidly obese category. We are all doing our best to become the best person we can like the woman said but when we have people like Dr. Lavie almost glorifying that being fat is not a sign of being unhealthy is just going to make the obesity epidemic worse. I'm 6"4' and used to weigh about 275 and I started to have a lot of minor health problems ranging from constant headaches to high blood pressure, but since I started to lose weight and eat healthier, those health problems have decreased significantly. Now I weigh about 256, and I still have a ways to go, to go back to my normal weight range (which is 220 to 225) but like I said, those minor health problems have decreased significantly. I would like to add, that it is unhealthy to be underweight too, so you have to find that healthy medium where you're in the normal weight range for your height.

ОтветитьTry and walk at least 10 miles a day and drink at least 1 liter of water when you finish. You can eat just about anything you want but don't go crazy. The trick is no soda and stay away from gluten mainly thick crust pizzas and donuts. STORE BOUGHT PIzza is ok just try to make it thin crust, the small personal pan or tortino's, only eat a few slices if the pizza and stretch it out to the next morning or afternoon if its at least twelve inches. Try and eat nothing but fruits and vegetables after sunset. I find strawberries to be an excellent snack at night. If you must eat after sunset stick with a sugarless cereal with 1% or skim milk. Any beautiful ladies out there reading this you're still attractive with a little meat on your bones.
