ОтветитьIs there any reason to use the Vector2 for horizontal movement as opposed to just a 1d axis? I don't like how holding up or down results in sideways movement

ОтветитьHey Bardent, Its been a good adventure covering the enemy behavior and all the other tutorials. Iam trying to make a mobile game with touch buttons and i had no problem changing my inputs to buttons (Two for movement and 3 for Attack, Jump and Roll). Iam very keen to learn the new input system and you are one among the few who covered it. I have seen the new input system is meant for keyboard and joystick primary. So my question is will i be able to use it for mobile inputs also?

ОтветитьHi! Give advice on how to make a ladder in a 2d platformer. And where better to stick the script, (so that the game does not break from a lot of stairs), the player or on the stairs themselves by making it a prefab.
Ответитьawesome vid. so just to see if i understood this right, context.performed is the equivalent to input.getButtonDown (useful for say, an attack). and the other two being for getButton and getButtonUp respectively? but i'm assuming with the ability to do a little bit more via code and such?

ОтветитьMan, I literally just changed my own character controller from bool if else checks to a state machine the other week. But I'm sure this will have some interesting considerations. Have you got a publishing schedule for these character controller videos?
