I have a mignon filter 60. About a hour after restarting the filter it makes a loud grinding noise from the propeller. I know its not from the tank vibration - does anyone know how to fix this or should I return?

What are the dimensions of the Mignon 150? Specifically the measurement along the back of the tank (length?). I have about 4.5 inches/11.5cm of rim space available to hang it on. I've looked all over the internet and haven't been able to find dimensions.

These nano filters are amazing! I was using the Dymax Slim on both my desk nanos. The Azoo filters are much better. I was having flow and surface agitation issues with the Dymax filters(I’ve tried two models). I was getting a lot of oil and protein buildup on the surface, now with Azoo filters it’s all gone. Thank you!

Oh, I have this! I can vouch for how quiet it is, my fish tank is in my bedroom and I only hear it when my water level gets low and you can hear it splash

Is there a humming or tick tick sound to this filter? I recently bought another brand and was disappointed at the sound it makes which has a tick tick sound. I hope i dont hav the experience with this.

I love that the flow adjustment is on the top of this filter. Never understood why the one I have is controlled by a slider on the back, under water... is my fish gonna change the flow???

The word "nano" messes my head up I would say most tanks need a minimum of a four times and hour turn over this 60 would be a really small tank and the "hob "filter is a good filter I use the seachem tidals and the biological side is minimal but each to their own ,,,great and well presented video and food for thought

Nice recommendation! Azoo 60’s description says it’s for tanks up to 3 gallons... but would you recommend them for a 7-8gallon betta tank?

Hello I have a question I have a 6 gal of water box clear I'm planning on putting a betta and possibly a few near Texas I was wondering which one of the two filters would you recommend for that 6 gallon thank you

I just tried a little sponge filter on my 7.5 rimless cube. The large bubbles in the sponge filter were super loud, and messed with my zen. I tried modifying a better airtone into the filter but the bubbles popping at the surface were leaving a "sea spray" on my hand finished desk.

I appreciated your review on this little hang on the back. I think i'm going to try it with some seachem maxtrix in the back. Hopefully the matrix isn't too big, I'm otherwise thinking this will be much quieter and spray less.

It should be noted that these only fit frameless tanks. With some modification, they can be made to work on framed ones. Its a shame as the 150 is perfect for a 10-20G tank.

In some of your HOB filters you had in your old house, you had bamboo in them. What are the benefits of having plants in the HOB filters?
