I remember going to Washington D.C. for Tuba Christmas.

Played for a number of years. He is amazing. I had a director that could play the Stars and Strips Forever piccolo solo but this is a whole different level.

I had the pleasure to see him in concert some years ago in Luxembourg. This was one of the most enterteining concerts which I have seen in my life. Hope he is doing well. Will look him uo. 4 minutes into the vid I hear myelf shouting d'acappo!

His song, "It'll be Alright," is really beautiful!

Very interesting, impressive, intriguing. I know absolutely nothing about tubas and tuba playing, so, this question is not a criticism by any means, it is just curiosity of a lay man; Do you need a tuba to do this? I mean how much of what we hear is absolutely dependent on the tuba and how much of it just you? If it is more you than the tuba, can you do this with a traffic cone? I mean no disrespect really, I am amazed of what I see and hear, but just can't be sure on the role of the instrument.

I had a private lesson from this man back at itech 2002. I helped out getting musicians where they needed to be at the conference and for this my private lessons instructor David Palmer got me a lesson with him for a half hour he’s absolutely the most phenomenal to the player there has ever been or likely will ever be
