ОтветитьSign me up for the Alienware Sauna Experience!
ОтветитьAlienware's AWTF probably stands for
"Ayo what the f***?"
If someone else hasn’t explained it already: DDR stands for Double Data Rate. Basically this means the RAM can do 2 operations per clock pulse. The frequency on the box is the Effective Speed of the RAM. For example 3200MHz RAM is actually running at 1600MHz but it will appear to run at DOUBLE that since it does 2 operations per pulse. If the base frequency of HiCookie’s was 5000 the RAM stick would say DDR5 10000MHz. I hope that explains it a bit. Maybe @Gamers Nexus can pin this comment if it helps
ОтветитьAlienware +psychological evaluation HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! excellent!
Ответитьeven if i only get to sweep the floors at GN. that would be an honor
ОтветитьHopefully, DDR5 prices will be low enough when the 7000 serie will be available.
ОтветитьThat eva pc looks awesome
Ответитьis Ps5 still weird for 1440p? like it can do 4k and 1080p but 1440p doesn't work right?
ОтветитьBruh you just made "Evangelion" sound like "Evangelyne".
ОтветитьIf I lived in the US, I would apply in a heartbeat. I hope you find your perfect new staff member ♥
ОтветитьThere's a serious lack of posts in this comment section talking about Nvidia suddenly having to scramble and make a better GPU because of competition....
It's been too long since Pascal where they had to produce a good product... Here's to hoping we're coming out of this stagnated GPU space where prices are just going up and up without any significant performance gain in the low/mid-range
Why does an APU get limited to 2GB dedicated?
ОтветитьIf I was anywhere near educated, I would have hella joined
ОтветитьSo this makes me wonder, why are they using the store page and not the main domen
ОтветитьAMD 7000 series.. PCIE5, DDR5 great.. but what about USB4??? AMD 6000 is supposed to have it, but none of the so-far released laptops have it enabled. WHATS THE DEAL, GN??? Can you please find the answer.
ОтветитьDamn, I wish I had writing talent. Best of luck to whomever is selected.
ОтветитьDDR5 gives error4s when you insert 4 RAM Kits in compatible motherboard not two. what do you say about it.
should i buy DDR5 Ram with 6600 MHz. is it give its full frequency w/o dropping.
Anyone who believes an air-cooled single GPU will be 600+ watts, as delivered, without increasing the limits, is dumb.
ОтветитьIT'S PS2, STEVE!
I consider myself hired.
That Alienware BURN though hahahaha
Ответить+35 years PC Experience in sales, service, maintenance & repair. Extremely Proficient in technical writing; especially to 'laypersons.' Requirement: Decent pay and All Kitties on my new shiny Desk!

I also share your politics on this whole consumer / Corporation game, and Im very competent with PC hardware with 20+ years exp.
Only problem is I live in Denmark with my wife n child. And no intention on moving to the US :(
Hope you have found what you looked for.
Standard air coolers are just so reliable, and even some high-end gaming CPUs like the 7800X3D work really well, even with very affordable air coolers in the 20-50 US dollar range. The fans are usually very easy to replace too (you should really avoid air coolers which won't work with standard sized PWM fans to ensure that they are easy to replace if/when they die). The fans on my air cooler are still running very quiet after about 8 years, but they are Noctua fans, so that's not surprising, and I was very lucky to find a Noctua cooler for the price I paid for it (about 40 USD at the time). My air cooler originally was for an AM3 motherboard, but with a free upgrade kit to AM4, and with AM5 being fully compatible with the vast majority of AM4 coolers (including mine), you can expect an air cooler to continue to be compatible with future motherboard platforms as well, though it might require some kind of mounting upgrade kit which might cost a little bit of money.
