As a gay I fart alot (I'm a obese white straight alpha male)
ОтветитьI have never in the film industry seen so much raw emotion on two actors like this.
Like when Steve realizes that she likes girls he goes from loving her to truly loving her as his friend.
Like he completely understands how much he loves her as his friend and the instant look of relief on her face knowing that the used to be jock and bully excepts her.
The fact that he doesn't change at all and they go back to having fun after such a moment in their friendship shows how good they are as people and friends. Steve being accepting and Robin being kind and caring.
ОтветитьI ...who wished them to end up together from start💀

ОтветитьThank God we still have this ride or die friendship
ОтветитьRobin x Steve >>> Nancy x Steve
Ответитьi have always loved that scene so much even when i was 13 and i could not reqlly understand them
ОтветитьIm not homophobic but I critize how the creators of strangers are kind unprofesional for allowing everything the actors want to do it, in the original script robin was suppose to be in love with steve. But Robin's actress didnt like that, and ask to change it.
This is not the firts time this happening in the show.
I loved what the writers did with Steve Harrington. A good looking kid who could have had any girl he wanted at school, and was a total douchebag ends up with the worst luck at love after he decides to become a better person for himself and those who surround him.
His relationship with Nancy ended. He had a massive crush on Robin who ended up being gay and not liking him back the same way.
Life was teaching him a lesson. It was a bit oxymoronic because he really turned into a likable character, but I feel that what helped him develop so nicely into the character we now love so much is the fact that, for the first time in his life, things were not going the way he wanted them to, and he learned to be okay with it.
It was at that point when he was single that he started really growing and maturing, making new friendships and being a better person. I loved every aspect of his character development.
This scene was the biggest prank anyone ever did to me.😂😂
I was like WTF is going on here ?
🤣🤣
"Rob, did you just OD in there?" ❤❤❤
I need this friendship
I can’t stop watching this scene and not laugh
ОтветитьI love Steve
ОтветитьIf i would be Robin i couldn't say no to him😅
ОтветитьThey did all that and just really went nope sorry gotcha not my type. 💀
ОтветитьThe way she spoke about her jealousy... I instantly related. Love hurts.
Ответитьgenuinely such a relatable scene. ive had to deal with guys having crushes on me as a lesbian and its always so uncomfortable if you have to tell them because you're friends/close. i see so much of myself in robin and its so comforting to have a character like her.
ОтветитьReturning to this scene after a year. It may actually be one of the most chaotic, bf, just, wholesome scenes ever. I love it.
Ответитьthe way his face just softened after he found out was so sweet and genuine! i’m so glad he immediately accepted robin and just laughed it off.
ОтветитьTotally forced.
ОтветитьI think they should give him a little time to think about it by Dustin running in just when he gets it. Dude just got gayzoned by the best girl in the town that he's in love with. Guys have feelings too you know. We don't just instantly flip the "She's lesbian, who cares?" switch in our brains. Teasing her should come in the final episode of the season during the "danger is over let's wrap this season up" part of the episode so he has time to process and neither her nor us know how will he react. Now matter the reason she just broke his heart and I don't believe there is a non-psychopath who can get over it so quickly and smoothly, especially at that age.
Ответитьrewatching this series and seeing Steves INSANE glow-up was such a highlight he went from douche jock to empathetic mom
ОтветитьThe fact so many of you defend unearned garbage is either pure media manipulation (bunch of fake accounts, which is a legimate business companies pay for overseas) or you are genuinely brainwashed. Will being gay? Fine. It wasnt a bait and switch narrarive trick. This? Anyone with common sense can see that they were setting them up to be together. Why couldnt they just make her gay in the beginning? Why say "I was OBSESSED with you" and then at the literal last second "oh, im gay" come OOONNN. Thats inorganic and forced. Bad writing. Its only getting worse. Season 2 wasnt even that bad with forced payoffs. Season 1 is writing perfection. Season 3, with things like this is bullshit.
ОтветитьGarbage writing. They clearly set it up for them to be together and switched last minute. Forced, garbage.
ОтветитьIf I had understood the significance of this sceene and understood myself as queer when I first watched this, this would have brought me to tears. His reaction was probably the best it could have been.
ОтветитьMy fav scene from the whole show
ОтветитьThis was just stupid. Her being gay does nothing for the show other than make it feel like a woke sermon.
ОтветитьHe's not thinking straight.
He's thinking about lesbianism.
i can watch these scene over and over again. felt so genuine. a deep care coming through from each character 🫂
ОтветитьI would have loved to see Steve and Robin together, but sometimes life goes this way 😢 In any case, Steve should be praised not only for accepting her sexual condition in 1985, but also for being so BRAVE and NOBLE to accept the situation and love her so much to put aside his feelings. He might have lost a potential girlfriend, but at least, he got an amazing friend.
Ответитьive came back to this video after finishing season 4
and i cried a lot, i live this scene
It was satisfying to see Steve giving Robin the eye in the next season when Tammy Thompson was singing horribly at the school assembly.
Ответитьthey have such good chemistry, this feels exactly like a conversation id have with my best friend
ОтветитьSteve is the best redemption arc in tv history
ОтветитьBest duo Ever I Swear we didn't expect such a Brilliant characters and stories, plus Erika, plus...I mean....Everybody, Everything is fcking Brilliant.
ОтветитьRobins laugh is awesome :) can make you smile and feel youthful.
ОтветитьEveryone needs a Steve like him 🥺🥺🥺
ОтветитьTBH I got how steve fell. He did not like Robin a Romantic way when he saw that she is essentially a Guy, he was relived that he can talk about girl with her too and be more friend than before...
ОтветитьThis actually shows he truly does love her and even if she cant in that way he just wants to see her happy
ОтветитьSteve's reaction was absolute perfection. I adore this scene. May well be the best part of the whole series.
ОтветитьI love how Steve only criticizes her taste in women and not her love for women itself
ОтветитьThis always just reminds me of that one Vine.
“Hey, I am a lesbian”
“I thought you were American?”
This is probably one of the best scenes in Stranger Things.
