I own the GL1800 2009 and the GL1500 1997 I don't like this bike at all - in anyway! Its too small its UGLY it doesn't have an alternator so when shit goes wrong you have to drop the engine no thank you. I don't want a sports bike I want a tourter. Much smaller luggage space, much less gas storage. No thank you.

Imagine that engine in a naked muscle cruiser like a Diavel or Rocket III...

Honda has this combi-brake thingie on all its low end scooter (I ride one). It's gimmicky but still glad to know it is a trickle down technology and also not just something that a marketing guy came up with from scratch like the thing actually exists on a legit bike

I watched your review of the BMW K1600B Grand America just prior to watching this review of the new Goldwing and there was a dramatic difference in your reaction when you stomped on the throttle of both bikes from a standing start. You were genuinely thrilled by the acceleration of the K1600. In fact, you accelerated hard more often on the K1600 because you enjoyed it so much. As for the Goldwing, you said it was good but you had far less of a reaction. I am currently riding a BMW K1200S, which accelerates hard, and will be transitioning to a bike more suitable for 2-up. I still want a bike that is thrilling but it has to be comfortable for the missus. I am thinking, based on your reaction comparison for acceleration, that the K1600 is more thrilling. I like the engine, the larger fuel tank, the added storage, and the adaptive headlight in the K1600, but I wish the K1600 had the larger screen and infotainment system of the Goldwing.

Traction control off let me see what its really capable of. You handled the it which what I like. I like spinning the tire every once in awhile. I bet with traction off you could chirp a few gears? Nice job on the video as well, I think I'm all set.

Honda will be making larger bags and top case before long I’m sure. I have the same color that your on there and love everything about it. They have already made the new passenger grab rails that I have now. This goes to show they are listening to their customer base about a few complaints. Love your vids. Keep them common. Ride safe.

I don't understand Honda. A touring bike should have at least 250 miles of range before hitting "reserve." 300 is better. The Wing also needs another 25 HP, which should be easy from 1800 CCs. The 1.6 in my old Civic had 125 HP and it lasted 350k miles. The top box MUST hold two helmets. Fail Honda.

It's impressive how Honda managed to get so little HP and TQ out of 1800 CCs...

I see this new and improved Wing, as catering to the shorter masses. Less Fuel, less weight, more visibility. I could be wrong though!!
Then again I am 6'5" and was curious as to how much room I would have to move around on the Seat. As it turns out, this is the best Wing for a little taller rider. I only had about 1" between my knees and the Fairing on the last generation. So this new Wing is totally awesome!!!
