I'm sorry but Batman is simply inhuman. He's survived quite a lot from Crane's toxin. In Asylum, during Scarecrow's last encounter, Sacrecrow runs away literal saying Bruce has taken enough toxin to drive many men insane, and Batman walks it off as if he got hit in the head by a metal beam.

And in Arkham Knight, he's capable of withstanding both a new fear toxin that he's never experienced before and definitely didn't have enough time to start developping a natural defense against it, AND he's fighting off Joker's influence at the same time.

If I was Crane and saw that I'd say "Nah bro, I'm giving up, how'd you do that ? Am I really that much of a bad chemist ? Turn me in, this is too humiliating, I give up on villain life."

I'd say that if Batman never had that fight with Jason, he wouldn't have known that Batman thought he was dead rather than just being completely abandoned because he didn't care about him like Jason originally thought. It hurts me thinking about how he was tortured and trained for years thinking no one cared about him.

When ever you are in the truck about to start the mission Alfred says “sir someone is tracking your location” and Batman says “I knew he would” meaning Jason was tracking him
