Where are the long shaft ones being sold? SnapOn? I would like to buy or make one as the OEM version is too short for some work!
I laugh at the current SnapOn truck owner when they say “SnapOn doesn’t make this!” And I show them on the side where is say Blue Point or SnapOn. But during the 70’s, air tools said Chicago Pneumatic on drills, air chisels and impacts. Hazet made dealership special tools before Kent-Moore, (They had the best hollow ground screwdriver tips ever made & heat treated, Rigid made the “Fluted EZ-Outs” They say “I‘ve never seen that before?” Well, you have now!!! DK.
Great tip, in the background I see a grill In a shelf and that is very cool, did you build it and is it from 53 to 56 ford truck Era? I also like the parking meter on the bench!🏁
ОтветитьWow,I'm amazed.
ОтветитьI just take a small flat blade screw driver, heat the end up with a lighter, push it in let cool and unscrew it out.
Ответить👍🖖
ОтветитьGreat tip! I have one also for you if you don’t already do it. I use a worn out roloc as a Adaptor to quick change my angle die grinder cut off wheels. Makes for quick work on replace another cut off wheel on your angle or straight die grinder.
ОтветитьCool wrench great tip
ОтветитьNice.. I actually never have had one of those break off in there like that but now, I know what to do IF so. Thanks! Whole time I was lookin at that drill and thinkin "okay, that's a START possibly..." lol. 😁
ОтветитьThat tool is called an easy out.
ОтветитьThis makes me think why the hell I didn't think of that 😁
ОтветитьGreat idea. I've used this before. Years ago I bought a set of left hand drill bits and that's what I use to drill the piece and every once in a while I get lucky and the bit grabs the broken stub and backs it out on its own.
ОтветитьA use for my screw extractors!
Ответитьawesome tip, cant say I have ever snapped one off mine tend to pull the threads rather than break
ОтветитьElusive little buggers are a giant pain in the ass. I'd whip out my trusty Zippo and heat it up some and get after it with anything handy with a point or corner, usually my ever present pocket screwdriver and dig it out.
Thanks for the tip Arco.
I got a question: do you sell merchandise?
ОтветитьGood stuff sir!!!!
ОтветитьCool little tec tip bro
ОтветитьGreat Tip Arco. Thanks.
ОтветитьGreat tip haven't broken one off in awhile but I'll keep this in mind when I do!
ОтветитьDang I keep a second Rolac just so I can deal with thay issue later.. You sir just saved me a ton of time 👍
ОтветитьWe call 'em easy outs :-)
ОтветитьAwesome tip Arco. Faster than the way I was doing them. Your way for now on!
ОтветитьGood evening, excellent tech tip. I always enjoy people's creative and clever ideas. Thanks and take care. Good luck.
ОтветитьThat works.
Ответитьnice! I used to heat up a small flat head melt into it let er cool lil bit and back it out👍
Ответитьvery good brother! see you next time 👏🏼😃
ОтветитьThank-----You.........Sir for all u do.
ОтветитьGoing to have to keep that in mind I usually just cut a slit with a cut off wheel wide enuff for a flat head screwdriver
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьTry a reverse drill bit should unscrew it
ОтветитьGood tip, thanks.
ОтветитьAn application where an easy out actually works!
Ответитьgood one, thanks!
ОтветитьI'm bobbing around the Atlantic, in a liferaft, 300 hundred miles south of Iceland, trying to get a signal. No wonder Wayne beat me. 😭😂😂Handy tip for stud removal👍. BWFJOE. 🤓Pete 😎
ОтветитьI heat a flathead screwdriver up, stick it in the plastic and twist it out and be back to work in 1 minute. No need to get a drill, small bit and extractor out.
ОтветитьGreat tip, Arco! 👍
ОтветитьUse a left handed drill bit to do the hole half the time it will come out on the drill bit if it dont then use exactor
ОтветитьAll you do is take a propane torch heat the end of a small screw 🪛 and melt it into the center and pull it out voila out
ОтветитьGreat tip man ! I use a left hand drill bit.
ОтветитьGreat tip....Thanks!
ОтветитьCool tip! Thanks for sharing
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьThank you for the tech tip. Enjoy your week! Thank you for your advice
Ответить12th floor folks, oh these hacks, now I need to break some of my rolocs and try this out.... I hate screw extractors I always get them stuck lol
ОтветитьThanks, and yes I have fought with a few of those.
ОтветитьA left hand drill bit would probably work also.
Surprised I have not managed to break a roloc yet, I am hard on shit.
4th
ОтветитьHeck yea! I've used picks before. Pain to get them out.
ОтветитьFirst after Joey and Wayne
