One thing that is never mentioned about the early years of cats living with humans is that ancient humans must have seen cats as the beautiful adorable creatures we see them as today. Yes, we were happy to see cats killing vermin, but we also must have seen them as soft, warm gorgeous creatures who were willing to live with us even in the era where cats were a lot cleaner than humans.

I was expecting a cat speaking on a tedX stage. this is a let down.

I knew that cats were a descendent from Desert cats, so I never understood why they like fish so much. But now I realize if they’ve been on ships for centuries, that that must have caused them to develop a liking for fish.

This just keeps going on and on about how each human in history who did anything of note had a cat that sat on their chosen humans lap giving them the knowledge for the progression of the human race. It was just last night my cat threatened me with the extinction of the human race if I didn't start to adore in the manner to which he expects, so I'll finish this post later on, when I have more time.
