Imagining A Switch Sports Resort

Guys it actually happened!! Well kind of... I'm not totally sure how I feel about it yet. The lack of Wuhu Island stinks for sure, but I still have some hope for it

They should release either a remaster of the original Wii sports resort, or a new version but still in Wuhu Island

how would the button controls work for bowling?

i think it would be cool to call it switch sports resorts, so you could have multiple islands you can fly between with the plane, opening up for dlcs and snow sports maps, MORE SPORTS RESORTS

It would be so cool if that new stadium island you mentioned was a place with professional stadiums for every sport. If you reach pro rank in a sport, then you would be able to play in the big stadiums and arenas in front of fans

I also think it would be cool if Matt had a son named matthew or something who was the swordplay champion and the last boxer you fight before Matt in boxing

I think, similarly to Matt being a hidden champion of swordplay, Elisa should be a secret tennis boss

It would be soooo sick if they had a boxing gym in wuhu town but the actual boxing matches took place in a ring plopped on top of the swordplay coliseum

What I think would be cool is to MAYBE be able to change the setting of different sports as special rewards for progressing in them. For example: you could change the setting of bowling to a house driveway or play golf on the rooftops of buildings that mimic preexisting courses. I know it kinda sounds weird, but I imagine it would be funny and add another whole layer of customization

The switch is a perfect console for this game idea. It would be such a shame for it not happen.

This whole idea is great but the only detail I would change is that Tyrone wouldn’t be the champion for swordplay. Instead he would be replaced by Rin who is the top ranked non-champion sword fighter. Furthermore, I would suggest instead of Abby being the champion of canoeing I would suggest making Mike the champion as he’s known as he has his own information point in island flyover related to canoeing

Nintendo should make 2 sports series
Nintendo Switch Sports
Classic Sports/Mii Sports

Nintendo Switch Sports should have just baseball (also boxing) added, and more modern versions of Resort and Club, and make more
Classic Sports/Mii Sports should be ports of the Wii Sports games, and if Nintendo released more sports games, create them in the Wii Sports style as well.

this can be the nintendo switch resort actually ( no sport in the name beacuse is a open world ), and will we amaizing.

I always thought of Go Vacation as a spiritual successor to the Wii Sports doulogy, and your ideas are pretty close to mine so I love it! Here are a few thoughts:

-I would add that you can only play a sport in the menu after you played it in the overworld for the first time to encourage exploration.

-I'm not sure about no seasons. Maybe they could be treated like times of day? No seasonal sports for sure though, I can't think of a way that wouldn't be either inconvinient or emearsion breaking.

-There should be more done with the new island than just baseball.

I think cel shading would work perfectly for this imaginary switch sports resort

But they will have to make the atoll way bigger for this in order to add more islands for the sports which makes it a pretty huge game
But I think it has more potential than even this

I think you should be able to unlock a fast travel type of menu by walking or doing whatever to get to the place before you get to fast travel there

I have an idea, when you choose night-time in the open world mode, you can head to the queen peach and participate in the parties, it doesn't give you anything, but its just for your enjoyment.

I would actually throw in nintendo lands games in an arcade on the island, I miss nintendo land and this would be the perfect place to bring it back. Or better yet, add a vr headset or some kind and just add Nintendo land itself.

If this actually happened I'd want to see a skills challenge for basketball and maybe a mma mode for boxing and change the name to fighting and maybe a new mode could be paintball or football.
I'd also like to see a sequel to switch sports resort with a winter version of mountain themed map and winter sports.

Even though wuhu island back would be nice, spocco square open world is more likely. Honestly it would be very cool, as the detail in the backgrounds of the switch sports sports is great

and they need to use a similar graphics style to the wii. nintendo switch sports looks weird and terrible
