Be nice this morning is for children and Thank you School teachers in San Francisco next.😢😢🛑 violence.
ОтветитьI’ve just realised how many reconnaissance/surveillance teams we have 😂, such as 4/73 special observation post battery, SRS (30 commando), Pathfinders, SRR etc. etc.
ОтветитьWhatever happened to PR?
ОтветитьThat's my role in the Finland's Field Artillery.
Ответить63
Ответитьdo these chaps get seconded to intelligence services also?
Ответить“We need to be able to speak to people and observe people. Next most important is that nobody sees us.”
What the hell does this mean?
They might not be visible, but what about guard dogs. I mean, sitting there for a few days, that must cause "a certain" smell... If I understand it correctly, those who don't want to be sure should aim at the places which are the least likely to conceal observers. So, every unit should have with them someone who has been an observer and thinks like an observer to spot potential enemy observers. And every now and then use teargas, just to be sure ? I mean, if there are airplanes, one can be sure there are anti-aircraft tactics. If there are observers, I assume special anti-observer tactics too have been developed ?
ОтветитьLongest i have been in a bush wss 12 days
Ответитьbest job i ever had :)
ОтветитьGood training for the day you forget the milk, and get kicked out for the night.
ОтветитьThis was my job in army and we can pretty much say all has changed since the Ukraine war, civilian drones have thrown a wrench into it. I have taken note tho we can adopt too.
ОтветитьIRL bush camping
ОтветитьThis is what Soldiering is all about. Salute
ОтветитьUnit?
ОтветитьNot many people have heard of 14 int..They were a special forces group during the troubles in Northern Ireland.
ОтветитьBasically sit in a ditch for 12 hours in the freezing rain, hoping that you’ll see someone go past 👍
ОтветитьIn the US Army they call them 19Delta Cav Scouts. First one in, first one out- or die trying. Its a living. 🙄
ОтветитьCan't improve on the humble bush for concealment.
ОтветитьOr, you use cheap drones like Ukraine does.
ОтветитьA small, mobile robot wouldn't give the same quality of intel, but considering the risk..? Place it, & get the hell outta there...
ОтветитьBush man “im a barbie girl in a barbie world!” Hostiles “did that bush just…. Wtf??”
ОтветитьThey would have plenty of practice in Rebel Country back in the day 🇬🇧🏴🥁✋🏻
ОтветитьNot a good job for a load snorer
ОтветитьThis is what my job in the US Army was supposed to be (as a Scout). Unfortunately, the Army is stupid and never uses people for their actual skillset.. They just put anyone who knows how to shoot on door kicking or convoy security.
ОтветитьPractice moving slowly at museums. Some museums use motion detectors, even when they’re open, the MDs are still operational. There’s a red led on the front that lights when it detects motion, if you move slowly enough, it won’t light.
ОтветитьBefore you think that's fun..........try doing it in November through March when it's raining, snowing, cold, always wet, slushy. Don't ever forget, they're not camping. They're scouting. There's a job to do.
ОтветитьLogged 8 yrs. It was the ultimate challenge. PMC and only reported to 1 handler, never meet with anyone else period. And never said a word until after his death out of respect for him.
ОтветитьSo basically blow all bushes up
ОтветитьBalls of steel to lay in a bush and let an enemy walk past you.
Ответить...👍
ОтветитьTry that out on the bald head prairie, where sagebrush is no higher than 2 ft
ОтветитьThey don't use these guys anymore, most countries now have Drones. Unless, they're too poor to buy drones? Then maybe? These guys are out of a job. LOL 😆😆
Ответитьfunny, the Taliban does not need a ghillie suit nor any special tool, just white toga, a sandal and a good old used Toyota pickup from e-bay, they fought against the best armies the west can provide, the best tech, the best training and yet the Taliban won. Seems like all these training, tech and muti trillion dollar equipment is useless against real determination
ОтветитьWouldn't this be the perfect time for a ghillie suit?
Ответитьi can't do this...... think of the spiders crawling on ur face
Ответитьuntill a random tank comes rolling through the bush...
ОтветитьWhere?
ОтветитьI was in a pathfinder detachment, 1st Ranger Bn, and LRSD in 101st LONG ago. Being in Ranger batt was certainly prestigious but I had more fun and excitement in six man teams.
ОтветитьHad a pal that was one of these...cracking bloke
ОтветитьBasically a scout
ОтветитьI had a friend who did this work. Tuff guy. Cool guy.
ОтветитьLRRPs
ОтветитьForced Recon.
ОтветитьThey're also a myth 🤦♂️🤡
ОтветитьSo where do they get that much chicken wire and burlap 100 km behind enemy lines…..
ОтветитьWhy would you allow yourself to be filmed doing this particular job bro doesn't make any sense to me I thought you were supposed to be hiding.
ОтветитьAnd all this time I thought the guy who stared at me during our UAs was the “special observer”……boy was I wrong!! 😜😝🫡
