Norm of Oppression [performance] | Skaistė Zubenaitė | TEDxKJJG Youth

As members of the human species, we encounter constraints and limitations every single day, even if unnoticeably. In this audio-visual performance Skaistė Zubenaitė explores the concepts of time and conformity, the consideration which can help us get to know ourselves, as well as the world around us, better. Skaistė Zubenaitė is a student in Kaunas Jonas Jablonskis Gymnasium who is also an aspiring visual performance artist. Through the movement of body and visual production, such as stational imagery, video, and live performance acts, Skaistė explores origins of social constructs and conceptualism.
