cant believe i never seen this channel, i heard about this when i was a kid and this morning i put the TV on and they were talking about this experiment on history channel and could not get it off my mind so i had to YT search it and not only found a vid but found a great channel it seems!!!!

The only thing crazy about this story is the fact people think the government would risk national security by telling the public about it.

I think due to the high strangeness of this story we're overlooking some points here:

The ONR themselves admit that 2 agents contacted Jessop about the annotated book. Why would they do this if the annotations were just incoherent "pseudoscience".

The ONR go on to state that people may be getting confused with an experiment they ran on the USS TIMMERMAN where high voltages produced "corona discharges" and "other well known phenomena"...

They then state that they've never done any experimentation into invisibility, which is probably the truth, as it'll be a 'black' and mirrored version of the ONR that will have conducted it.

And c'mon people, s-cide with no autopsy is a classic!

This seems too odd to be speculation. I’m sure it happened. The biggest disappearing act is government accountability to it’s people in this country. It’s hard to believe the US government is “of” the people, “by” the people and “for” the people. The disinformation is enormous. They truly don’t give a shxxt about us.

In the early 70's my NJRTC instructor who was a retired high ranking officer in the Navy told us about this whole incident. He said when he first heard about this while he was a commander in the late fifties it was told as a farce. He couldn't believe it when years later people actually started to believe it.
